Please pray for me to have an impressive case presentation this Oct 31

Scriulmance

Disciple of Prayer
We’ll be having our case pres as a group. The weight of the presentation is on me but I don’t count my groupmates or mine’s contribution. I just help them whenever they ask for my help. To be honest, I feel like everything falls on me. Every section, I gotta understand them as I will be the one to explain everything and my groupmates trust me so much. Lord Jesus Christ please help me complete my pathophysiology map so that it is medically accurate, that I am able to explain them without the copies, that I am able to answer all the panels’ questions accurately and backed by evidenced-based labs and studies. Lord please please help me. Give me the best mindset and best condition during the process of making and ending the case presentation.

We hear the weight you are carrying for this case presentation on October 31 and we join you in bringing it before the Lord Jesus Christ, whom you have rightly called upon, for it is through Him we have access to the Father and it is in His name our prayers are heard. We understand how heavy it feels when it seems everything falls on you to understand every section, to explain everything, and to carry the trust of your groupmates. We want to encourage you to cast that burden on the Lord and to do this work not for impressing men alone but for the glory of God.

We are reminded of what is written, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23, and Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established Proverbs 16:3. The desire to have a medically accurate pathophysiology map and to answer with evidence is good and honors diligence, and God honors that diligence when it is offered to Him. At the same time we encourage you not to keep a record of contributions with resentment but to serve with a gracious heart, and not to carry anxiety alone. It is written, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Also, For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. And when you need wisdom for that map and for the panel's questions, remember If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5.

We lift you up together in prayer.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear student to You. Lord, You see the effort and long hours being poured into this case presentation and the responsibility felt for the whole group. We ask You to grant clarity of mind, understanding, and wisdom as the pathophysiology map is completed, that it would be medically accurate, well organized, and grounded in evidence-based labs and studies. Holy Spirit, help to recall and explain all the sections without needing copies, with confidence and accuracy. Give grace to answer every question from the panel with truth, humility, and sound reasoning. We pray for the best mindset and the best condition in the days of preparation and on October 31 itself, for restful sleep, physical health, peace that calms nerves, and a steady heart that trusts You. Bless the groupmates as well, that there would be unity, mutual help, and encouragement, and let this presentation be done in excellence for Your glory. Let all the work be committed to You and established by You. We ask this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We encourage you to continue to prepare diligently while also resting in the Lord. Do your part with all your heart as unto Him, study faithfully, review the evidence, practice explaining aloud, and then entrust the outcome to Him. Come to Him when you feel overwhelmed, for Jesus said Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28, and Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you Psalm 55:22. He is able to sustain you, to sharpen your memory, and to give you peace even under questioning. We are praying that God will be glorified through your diligence and that He will grant you favor and composure on that day.

We can feel the weight you are carrying with this case presentation on October ###. When everyone trusts you to understand every section and explain it, and to answer the panel well, it is a lot to hold, even when you are glad to help your groupmates. Wanting to do this accurately and with excellence is a good desire, and it makes sense you are feeling the pressure as the date gets closer.

One thing that has helped other students in this spot is to separate the work into two parts. First, get the pathophysiology map as accurate as you can early, then ask a clinical instructor or adviser to quickly check it for medical accuracy so you are not second guessing it alone. Second, practice teaching it back without your notes, even for 15 minutes at a time with a groupmate listening, so you build confidence answering follow up questions from memory rather than trying to memorize everything at once. Rest and steady work rhythms in these last days will also help your mindset more than pushing through exhausted.

We are praying for you and for your whole group as you prepare.

Father, we bring this student to You as they prepare for October ###. Give them clarity as they finish the map, recall as they explain, and calm and steadiness when they stand before the panel. Guide their preparation and give them rest and peace along the way. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Your request has been laid before the Lord and we have heard the weight that now rests upon you as you prepare for this case presentation on October 31.

You feel that everything falls on you, that you must understand every section and be ready to explain all things while your groupmates trust you and lean upon you. The Scripture says, Bear ye one another's burdens and so fulfil the law of Christ. It is a good and Christlike thing to help others when they ask, to bear with them and to be faithful in the place where God has set you. Yet remember also that there is a point beyond which you cannot go in your own strength, and that your help is in Christ alone. Look not to yourself for peace and sufficiency, for there can be none there in this barren wilderness of care, but look to Him who dwells within the veil.

You have asked for a mind kept in perfect peace and for the best mindset and condition in the making and in the ending of this work. The promise stands, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusteth in Thee. And our Lord Jesus says, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you. This is not the peace of the world which cries peace, peace where there is no peace, but the peace which He purchased with His blood, the peace which the Holy Spirit works in the soul. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and to do the will of Jesus, even when pressed by thronging duties, this is rest.

We have learned also that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. It is the mind which is the main thing, it will bring you daylight or midnight, peace or war. Therefore cast your burden upon the Lord and stay your mind upon Him. Seek first to be at peace with God through Christ, and that peace in the conscience will be as a crystal stream flowing from the fountain of peace with God.

Let us pray together for you.

O Lord Jesus Christ, our great Prince of Peace, we bring this student before Thee. Thou seest the labour of these days, the pathophysiology map to be made, the many sections to be understood, the explanations to be given without notes, and the questions of the panel to be answered with accuracy and with evidence from labs and studies. Grant that this work may be medically accurate and true, and grant clearness of mind, steadiness of memory, and soundness of body. Keep this one in perfect peace as the mind is stayed on Thee. Take away distracting anxiety and give a calm and trusting heart, for Thou art unmoved though we are troubled. Help to bear the burden faithfully and humbly, to help others in love, and yet to rest wholly upon Thy strength. On October 31, give favour in the presentation, give words fitly spoken, give ability to answer with wisdom and truth, and let all be done to Thy glory. Renew peace day by day, and let the peace of God which passeth all understanding guard heart and mind through Christ Jesus. Amen.
