please pray for me to do well at ### residential facility stay drug free

Loreimont

Disciple of Prayer
I need help getting myself mentally doing better at ### treatment facility. I also need to recover from using drugs and alcohol. Please help me, it's like people want some permanent consequences to this.

We hear your cry for help, and we stand with you in this battle, lifting you up in prayer before the throne of grace. The struggle with addiction is real, and the weight of shame or fear of permanent consequences can feel crushing—but take heart, for Scripture declares, *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it"* (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB). You are not alone in this fight, and God has not abandoned you. He is your refuge, your strength, and your deliverer.

First, we must address the foundation of your plea. You asked for prayer, but you did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father. There is no salvation, no healing, no deliverance apart from Him. Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6 WEB). If you have not already, we urge you to surrender your life to Him—confess your sins, repent, and place your trust in His finished work on the cross. He alone can break the chains of addiction and restore your mind, body, and spirit. Without Him, this battle is futile, but *with* Him, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26 WEB).

Now, we rebuke the spirit of addiction and bondage that has taken hold of your life. We command it to loose its grip in the mighty name of Jesus Christ! The enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10 WEB). We declare that you are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves you (Romans 8:37 WEB), and we stand against every lie that tells you recovery is impossible or that you are beyond hope. That is a deception from the pit of hell, and we refuse to accept it.

We also rebuke the spirit of condemnation that may be whispering in your ear, telling you that people want permanent consequences for your struggles. While it is true that sin has consequences, God’s heart is not one of punishment but of restoration. *"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance"* (2 Peter 3:9 WEB). His desire is to heal you, not to shame you. If others have spoken words of judgment over you, we pray that their hearts would be softened and that they would see you through the lens of Christ’s love and mercy.

Now, we pray for you with all earnestness:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister in this battle. We ask that You would break every chain of addiction in their life—every craving, every lie, every stronghold that has taken root. Lord, we declare that Your power is greater than any substance, and we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, who gives strength and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23 WEB). Renew their mind, Father, and restore the years that the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25 WEB). Help them to see themselves as You see them: redeemed, forgiven, and set free.

We pray for their time in this residential facility. Surround them with godly counsel, supportive staff, and fellow believers who will encourage them in their walk with You. Give them the humility to receive help and the wisdom to apply what they learn. Guard their heart and mind from discouragement, and let them experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB).

Father, we ask that You would heal their body from the damage caused by drugs and alcohol. Restore their health, renew their strength, and give them a hunger for what is good and pure. Help them to flee from temptation and to run to You in their moments of weakness. Remind them that Your grace is sufficient, and Your power is made perfect in their weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB).

We also pray for their relationships. If there are broken bonds with family or friends, we ask that You would begin to mend those wounds. Give them the courage to seek forgiveness where it is needed and the grace to extend forgiveness to those who have hurt them. Let Your love be the foundation of all their connections.

Most of all, Lord, we pray that they would draw near to You. Let them experience Your presence in a tangible way—through Your Word, through prayer, through worship, and through the fellowship of believers. May they know, deep in their spirit, that You are for them, not against them, and that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28 WEB).

We declare that this is not the end of their story. This is a season of refining, of pruning, of preparation for the good works You have prepared for them (Ephesians 2:10 WEB). We speak life, healing, and freedom over them in the name of Jesus Christ. May they leave this facility not just sober, but transformed—mind, body, and soul—by the power of Your Holy Spirit.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

You are not defined by your past or your struggles. You are defined by the One who created you, who loves you, and who is calling you to walk in freedom. Take one day at a time, and lean on Him in every moment. *"But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint"* (Isaiah 40:31 WEB). You *can* do this—not by your own strength, but by His. Keep fighting, keep praying, and keep pressing into Him. We are standing with you.

We're here with you, praying for strength and healing. We know the road to recovery can be tough, but remember, Jesus said, "I am the vine, you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing" (John 15:5). So, let's cling to Him, together.

We're asking God to fill you with His Spirit, to renew your mind, and to break every chain of addiction in your life. We're praying for your time in the residential facility, that it would be a place of growth, healing, and transformation. We're asking God to restore your health, to mend broken relationships, and to draw you closer to Him.

And listen, friend, we're not just praying for you, we're believing with you. We believe that you can overcome this. We believe that you will leave this facility transformed, not just sober, but renewed in mind, body, and soul. Keep fighting, keep praying, and keep pressing into Jesus. We're right here with you, every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer as you seek God’s strength and healing during your time at the residential treatment facility. It takes great courage to face the battles of addiction and mental health, and we have been lifting you up daily, asking our Heavenly Father to surround you with His peace, clarity, and unwavering support.

We’ve prayed specifically for your mind—that God would renew your thoughts, calm your anxieties, and help you focus on His truth as you work through treatment. We’ve asked Him to break the chains of addiction in your life, replacing cravings with a deep hunger for His presence and purpose. And we’ve interceded on your behalf, asking that those around you would see your heart for change and offer grace rather than judgment, reminding you that God’s love is greater than any mistake.

If you’ve seen even small victories—moments of clarity, strength to resist temptation, or peace in the midst of struggle—we would love to hear about them. Your praise report could be an encouragement to others walking a similar path. If, however, the battle still feels overwhelming and you haven’t yet sensed God’s breakthrough, please don’t hesitate to post your request again. We are here to stand with you for as long as it takes, believing that God is at work even when we can’t see it.

Continue to press into Him, trusting that His power is made perfect in your weakness. He is faithful, and His love for you is unshakable. We will keep praying that His healing touches every part of your life—mind, body, and spirit—and that you emerge from this season stronger in Him.

May God bless you with His peace and presence as you seek Him through Jesus Christ our Lord. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.
