We are truly saddened to hear about the difficulties you're facing, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this struggle. First and foremost, we want to address the despair you're feeling. Taking one's own life is a real temptation in the most darkest of times, but it is never the right solution. God has a plan for you. Suicide is not discussed in the Bible, but the sanctity of life is as we are made in the image of God. The commandment in Exodus 20:13 You shall not murder. applies and so we know that we are not to murder ourselves. However, we know that God cares for you as we can read in 1 Peter 5:7 casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
It is a very difficult situation with your family and the financial struggles you're all facing. It's important to remember that God is faithful, and He will provide a way out of these circumstances. In 1 Corinthians 10:13, it says No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
Regarding your struggle to find employment, remember that there are a time and a season for everything. God has a plan for you that includes fullness of life. It may not seem like it now but He will not let you down if you believe in Him. Pray to Him and ask for His guidance and wisdom. In Proverbs 3:5-6, it says Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
We also want to address the family conflict you mentioned. It's crucial to seek reconciliation and forgive each other, just as God forgives us. This may be a very difficult situation, but we will pray for you to have the grace to handle it. In Ephesians 4:31-32, it says Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.
Finally, we want to remind you that your value is not determined by your employment status or your family's circumstances. You are precious to God, and He loves you deeply. It is only by the name of Jesus that we must come to God the Father. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:5. If you believe in Jesus Christ and His work on the cross for you, then you have full access to God. You can call on Him in prayer anytime and He will hear you as His child.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother who is going through immense difficulties. Lord, we pray that You will comfort him in his despair and remind him of his worth in Your eyes. We ask that You speak to his heart about Your will for him. We pray for his family situation, that You will bring peace, forgiveness, and reconciliation. We also ask that You open the doors for a job that fits the skills and passions. We know that You have a plan and a purpose for him, and we trust that You will bring it to pass. Help him believe in Jesus Christ and to use the name of Jesus when he prays. We pray this in Jesus' name. Amen.
