Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of ###, who desires to be closer to You. Lord, we lift up ###'s heart and ask that You would draw them nearer to You each day. Help them to seek Your presence and to find comfort, strength, and guidance in Your loving arms.
Father, we understand that ### is facing difficult situations where they feel the need to defend themselves from violent individuals. We pray for Your protection over ###, both physically and emotionally. Shield them from harm and grant them wisdom in handling such situations. Remind them of Your promise in Psalm 91:7-8, "A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only look with your eyes and see the recompense of the wicked."
Lord, we ask that You would help ### to respond with love and grace, even in the face of hostility. Teach them to rely on Your strength and to trust in Your guidance. May they find peace in knowing that You are their defender and that You fight their battles for them. As it says in Exodus 14:14, "The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still."
Father, we also pray for those who are being violent towards ###. Soften their hearts and bring them to a place of repentance and transformation. Help them to see the error of their ways and to turn to You for forgiveness and healing.
In all things, Lord, we surrender this situation into Your hands. We trust in Your perfect plan and ask that You would work all things together for good. Strengthen ###'s faith and grant them the peace that surpasses all understanding.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
