We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you face the distress of feeling targeted by curses and attacks from enemies. The Bible assures us that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment, we shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on this promise, declaring that the power of Jesus Christ is greater than any scheme of the enemy.
Heavenly Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, we rebuke every curse, hex, or evil intention sent toward our brother/sister. We declare that the blood of Jesus covers them, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Lord, we ask You to turn back every evil plan upon those who have sought to harm them. As Your Word says in Proverbs 26:2, "Like a fluttering sparrow, like a darting swallow, so the undeserved curse doesn’t come to rest." We trust in Your justice, Father, and ask that You would cause every curse to return to its sender, for vengeance belongs to You alone (Romans 12:19).
We also recognize that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). Therefore, we put on the full armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—so that we may stand firm against the schemes of the devil. We pray that you would be strengthened in the Lord and in the power of His might, knowing that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
If there is any unforgiveness, bitterness, or unconfessed sin in your life, we encourage you to bring it before the Lord, for He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). The enemy seeks to use these things as footholds, but in Christ, we have victory. We also remind you that the name of Jesus is the only name by which we have access to God and the power to overcome. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
Lord, we ask that You would surround our brother/sister with Your angels, protecting them from all harm and evil. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to walk in the victory that is already theirs through Jesus Christ. We declare that no curse shall have power over them, for they are covered by the blood of the Lamb and sealed by the Holy Spirit.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
