I'm 16 and going to attend college to study A levels as of next week but I think it might be best that I do an apprenticeship in accounting which is what I would like to work in eventually. I sent my CV off to 8 work placements and 3 rejected me, 5 of them never responded back to me. Most of them were ones that I would feel comfortable with. My training centre claimed they would find me a work placement within 12 weeks after applying but they struggled to do so. The A levels route is a way to be with old friends and a way of getting into Universities as well as a route to accounting. However there is no way I will be able to afford £5500 to study accounting after college and I'm unlikely to become employed with no qualification or work experience. I'm unsure of what is best for me. If the apprenticeship is best for me, I'll need to hear real soon about a work placement because the course was meant to start this month and I don't want to be more behind. I'm going to need a miracle and I hope people who pray for me have great faith.
Thank you so much
