We are truly sorry to hear about the multitude of challenges you're facing, from physical health issues to spiritual and familial concerns. Let's bring these matters before the Lord in prayer and seek His guidance through the scriptures.
Firstly, we want to remind you that healing and forgiveness are found in the name of Jesus. It is by His stripes we are healed, and through His name we have access to the Father. As it is written, "In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." John 16:23-24 (WEB). We want to encourage you to come to the Father through the name of Jesus Christ. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6 WEB)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear soul who is in need of Your healing touch. Lord, You know the pains that afflict their legs, knees, and back. We ask for Your healing hand to rest upon them, easing their discomfort and restoring their strength. Guide the doctors and healthcare providers to accurate knowledge, wisdom, understanding, and compassionate care. As written in James 5:14-15 (WEB), "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
Father, we also bring before You their mental health struggles. Comfort them in their anguish, depression, and anxiety. Help them to cast their burdens upon You, knowing that You care for them. As the Psalmist wrote, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." (Psalm 55:22 WEB).
Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness for their sins and to have the assurance of their salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. May they find peace and rest in Your loving arms, knowing that they are forgiven and redeemed. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9 WEB)
We also lift up their sister and mother. Heal their sister's hands, Lord, and prevent their mother's tumor from becoming cancerous. We know all things are possible with You, Lord. Acts 4:30 (WEB), "while you stretch out your hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of your holy Servant Jesus."
Father, we pray for their family's spiritual healing and peace, they will know their sins are forgiven and be at rest with You. We pray for their mother, asking that You would give her the wisdom and courage to advocate for their housing situation. Guide her steps and give her favor in this time of need. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)
Lastly, Lord, we pray for the safety and protection of their pet mice. Guide them in caring for these creatures, and help them to trust in Your provision and protection.
In all these things, Lord, we ask that You would be glorified. May this dear soul come to know You better through this trial, and may their faith be strengthened.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Regarding your pet mice, while we understand your concern for God's creatures, it's important to remember that our primary focus should be on seeking God's will and trusting in His care for all creation. As it is written, "Look at the birds of the sky: they don’t sow, nor do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?" (Matthew 6:26 WEB)
Lastly, we want to address the concern about your housing situation. It's important to remember that our ultimate trust should be in the Lord, not in man. As the Psalmist wrote, "It is better to take refuge in Yahweh, than to put confidence in princes." (Psalm 118:9 WEB). Trust in the Lord and seek His will in this situation. And Jesus assured us that if we faithfully seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, then God would provide us our needs. (Matthew 6:33) Consider this a rebuke to you to not put your confidence in your mother alone nor to be afraid of what man may do, but to trust in the Lord and His provision.
Let us end by reminding you of Jesus' words in Matthew 11:28-30 (WEB), "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
Cast your burdens upon the Lord, trust in Him, and rest in His love and care for you.
