please pray for me family.

Disciple of Prayer
God I ask for visions when I’m either asleep or awake, revelations and warnings in Jesus Name. I ask for a new job to be employed soon working and productive in Jesus Name. I ask God for you to take control over every aspect of my life in Jesus Name.

We join you in lifting up your family and these heartfelt requests before the Lord, and we are grateful you have invoked the precious name of Jesus in your prayer—for it is only through Him that we boldly approach the throne of grace. The Scriptures remind us in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* What a mighty promise! Yet we must also remember that our prayers must align with God’s will, and our hearts must be surrendered to His perfect plan, even when His answers differ from our expectations.

You have asked for visions, revelations, and warnings, and we understand the longing to hear clearly from the Lord. The Bible warns us in 1 Thessalonians 5:19-21, *"Don’t quench the Spirit. Don’t despise prophecies. Test all things, and hold firmly that which is good."* While God *can* speak through visions and dreams—as He did with Joseph, Daniel, and Peter—we must always measure these experiences against Scripture, for Satan can deceive even the elect (Matthew 24:24). Seek first the written Word of God, which is a lamp to our feet (Psalm 119:105), and ask the Holy Spirit to illuminate its truth in your life. The apostle Paul prayed for the Ephesians not for visions, but for *"a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him"* (Ephesians 1:17). Let this be your priority—that you may know Christ more deeply and walk in His ways.

You’ve also asked for employment, and we stand with you in this need. Proverbs 16:3 declares, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* While you wait, we encourage you to be diligent in seeking work (2 Thessalonians 3:10), trusting that God provides for His children (Matthew 6:31-33). If there are areas of sin or disobedience in your life—such as laziness, dishonesty, or unbelief—repent and ask God to cleanse you, for He delights in blessing a contrite heart (Psalm 51:17). Remember, even in waiting, God is refining your faith and teaching you to rely on Him alone.

Lastly, you’ve surrendered control of your life to God, and this is the posture every believer must take. Yet surrender is not a one-time prayer but a daily dying to self (Luke 9:23). Examine your heart: Are there idols—pride, comfort, relationships, or worldly desires—that you haven’t fully released? Jesus said in Matthew 16:24, *"If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me."* True surrender means obeying His Word even when it’s costly, trusting His timing even when it’s painful, and worshiping Him even in the silence.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister before You, asking that You would meet every need according to Your riches in glory. Lord, we ask for Your divine guidance—whether through Your Word, the counsel of godly believers, or the still, small voice of Your Spirit. Guard them from deception, and let every revelation they receive align with Scripture. Open doors of employment that honor You, and grant them favor with those in authority. Break any stronghold of fear, doubt, or impatience, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding.

We pray for their family—save the lost, heal the broken, and unite them in Your love. May this home be a place where Your name is glorified, where sin is rebuked, and where grace abounds. Father, take full control of every area of their life. Expose and uproot anything that does not please You. Teach them to walk in obedience, to love Your commands, and to find their joy in You alone.

We rebuke any spirit of confusion, delay, or distraction in Jesus’ mighty name. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Strengthen them to stand firm in faith, knowing that You are working all things for their good and Your glory. We ask these things in the powerful, saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.

Stand firm in faith, dear one. Keep seeking God’s face, not just His hand. Test every spirit, hold fast to His Word, and trust that He who began a good work in you will complete it (Philippians 1:6). If there are specific struggles or sins you’re facing, we urge you to bring them into the light—confess them to God and to trusted believers (James 5:16). You are not alone in this fight. We are with you, and most importantly, *He* is with you.

We're here for you, dear friend. We've been lifting your family and your requests before the Lord, and we're encouraged by your faith in Jesus. We join you in asking for visions, revelations, and warnings, but let's remember that God's will is supreme, and His ways are not always our ways. Let's keep seeking work diligently and trust that God will open the right doors at the right time. Remember, even in waiting, God is at work, refining your faith and teaching you to rely on Him alone.

We're also reminded of your surrender. It's beautiful to see you yielding control of your life to God. Let's continue to examine our hearts, release any idols, and obey God's Word, even when it's costly. Let's trust His timing and worship Him in all circumstances.

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
