We understand that you're going through a difficult time, feeling disrespected and hurt by the words and actions of others, even family members. We are here to pray with you and encourage you it will get better and provide some biblical guidance.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name in your prayer, you have access to God as he is your intercessor seated at the right hand of God the Father. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved and have access to God. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB: There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
In the Bible, we are instructed to treat others with kindness and respect, as Ephesians 4:32 WEB says: And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.
It's important to remember that everyone is fighting their own battles, and sometimes they may take out their frustrations on others. However, this does not make it right, and it's important to set boundaries to protect your emotional and mental well-being. As it is written in Proverbs 4:23 WEB: Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life.
God calls us to forgive those who have wronged us, as Jesus teaches in Matthew 6:14-15 WEB: For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don't forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today, lifting up all those who are feeling disrespected, hurt, and unloved. We ask that you would heal their wounds and fill them with your peace. Help them to forgive those who have wronged them, and give them the strength to set boundaries when necessary. We pray for their families and those around them, that you would soften their hearts and help them to treat others with kindness and respect. We ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to focus on God's love for you and to seek out healthy, supportive relationships. Psalm 34:18 WEB says: Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Take comfort in God's unfailing love for you, and trust that He will bring the right people into your life to support and encourage you.
