Dear Lord, I know You will never give me more than I can handle, and so if You feel it is time for my marriage to end, I accept it. However, please do not abandon my husband in his time of need. Please bestow upon him the grace to decide which kind of life he wants, and if You so command it, please remove the anger from his heart to allow our divorce to go as quickly and smoothly as possible. Please continue to watch over him until the day You call him home - allow him to hurt no one (including himself) and give him the peace he so desperately needs. I also ask that You keep me safe and sound through this difficult time.
