Please Pray For Linda

Please pray for my sister Linda. She has a gambling addiction that she cant seem to overcome and she also needs godly wisdom to manage her finances. Pray that she will have the courage, determination and wisdom to become a good steward. She also has some health concerns and really needs to find a way to loose weight since it is affecting her health. Linda is a Christian woman who goes to church often and reads the Bible but struggles with the ability to apply Gods word to her life. Please agree with me in prayer for her physical and spiritual needs to be met according to God's will and that the Word of God will become a power and abiding influence in her life to bring her into a closer walk with the Lord and that she will choose to walk on the right path concerning every area of her life! I praise You that she attends church and reads the bible - that she has a "working" knowledge of who You are and what You do. I pray that she would yearn to know You more, that the lure of gambling would lose its luster compared to Your holy presence. Grant her the courage and willpower to care for her health and take off the excess weight. Give her tastes of success along the path to encourage her and drive her forward. It takes a lot of willpower to dodge that. I gamble a little, but typically it does not provide problems, especially as I get older and more disciplined. I understand how it can be hard to stop. I will be praying for Linda.
