We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up the nation of ### and its business practices. We pray for justice and righteousness to prevail, for God's will to be done in the hearts of those in authority and in the marketplace. It is written in Proverbs 11:1, "A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight." We ask that God would expose the injustices and bring about a change in the hearts of those who have been unfair and greedy.
We pray for the workers who have been unfairly dismissed and those whose wages have been withheld. May the Lord provide for their needs and comfort them in their distress. We ask that the Lord would soften the hearts of the employers and lead them to repentance. May they see the consequences of their actions and turn to God, seeking His wisdom and guidance in their business practices. As it is written in Colossians 4:1, "Masters, give to your servants that which is just and equal, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven."
We lift up the nation of ###, praying that its economy would be built on righteousness, honesty, and care for its people. May the Lord raise up godly leaders who will seek His wisdom and guidance in governing the nation. We pray that the people of ### would turn to God, seeking His face and His will for their lives and their nation. As it is written in 2 Chronicles 7:14, "If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
Lastly, we notice that the name of Jesus was not mentioned in this request. We want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" And in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We encourage you to always approach God in the name of Jesus, for He is our mediator and advocate.
Heavenly Father, we ask that you would bring about justice and change in ###'s business practices. We pray that you would open the eyes of those who have been greedy and unjust, leading them to repentance and a renewed commitment to treating their workers fairly. We ask that you would provide for those who have been wronged and comfort them in their distress. We pray that the nation of ### would turn to you, seeking your wisdom and guidance in all things. We ask all this in the name of your Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
