God, our help and assistance, who is just and merciful, and who hears the prayers of your people; look down upon me. a miserable sinner, have mercy upon me, and deliver me from the troubles that torment me, even though I might deserve them. Grant me, I pray, your divine helping grace; endow me with patience and strength to endure my tribulations with complete submission to your will. You know my misery and suffering and to you, my only hope and refuge, I flee for relief and comfort; trusting your infinite love and compassion, that in due time, when you know it is for the best, you will deliver me from my troubles, and turn my distress into comfort, and I will rejoice in your mercy, and exalt and praise your Holy Name, O Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, In Jesus Name Amen

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. [SIZE=14pt]Holy Father, Immortal, from whom all goodness and gentleness comes, penitently this parent prays to You for their offspring whom You have given them to bear. Keep them in Your grace and holiness, that Your name may be glorified in them. Direct them by Your grace to raise their children toward the glory of Your holy name and the benefit of other people. Grant them the gift of the patience necessary to do so. O Lord, enlighten the mind of these children with Your Wisdom to learn to love You in their souls and thoughts. Instil in their hearts the fear and abhorrence of every vice, that they may be able to go the right way without sin. Adorn their souls with purity, goodness, humility, diligence, patience, and every virtue. Guard their lips from all slander and lies. Bless these children, that they may progress in virtue and holiness, and grow under Your care into honest people. Protect them in their youth from misleading thoughts, from the evil and sinful temptations of this world, and from the traps of all unclean spirits. And when these children sin before You, do not turn away Your face from them, but according to Your great mercy be merciful unto them, for You alone are the one who cleanses people from all sin. Reward these children with worldly good things and everything they need for salvation. Keep them from wrath, anger, misfortune, evil, and suffering all the days of their lives. O good Lord, I pray You, grant this parent joy and happiness from their children. Keep them in righteousness and justice, that with Your children they may stand before You in the day of Your dreaded judgment, and that without fear they may say: Here I am, Lord, with the children whom You have given me, that together with them I may praise Your most holy name of the Father and Son and Holy Spirit, unto ages of ages.
