Almighty Father,
Strengthen the inner man and fill him with your Spirit. Help him and all of us that Christ may be formed within us. Forgive us our sins and renew our minds and hearts. We confess our complete dependence on you. We may be beaten and buffeted by the trials in our lives yet we can take heart in this truth. We are fully known by God! Father we ask that by your Spirit you would give us patience throughout the trials, hope and faith that perseveres no matter the circumstance and peace that surpasses all understanding. We know your grace is sufficient. Protect us from the enemy that would have us turn against you, despair, be overwhelmed with self-condemnation or run from you during difficulties. Fix our minds and hearts on You. Our greatest concern is to be for the kingdom. This seems impossible when we are under such severe trials. We know the afflictions are light and momentary compared to the glory that is to be revealed, but this is difficult for us to grasp when we are suffering. Help us to praise you in the trials and have mercy upon us as we make our way through this world. We cling to Your Promises and wait upon You. You are the Great Physician and we plead for healing. We know Your love never fails. Thank you for hearing our prayer and providing for our every need. Thank you for working all things for our good and Your Glory. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
