Beloved in Christ, Jana, What you are actually asking for is for others to pray for salvation (through God's grace) for you and your husband in order that you two will be able to enter into God's kingdom because that is the only way one can enter (through salvation.) Please know that God's gates are not narrow, they are very wide in order to welcome those who are well prepared to enter by their personal commitment to become Born Again in Jesus Christ. There are many who feel that prayers alone will Save their friends, loved ones, family members, or even themselves but if it is only offered for another, without that person's personal commitment to be Saved, then it is not sufficient, especially in the case of Salvation. God will certainly listen to two or more who are gathered in prayer in His name for a cause but the cause of Salvation is much greater in that it takes a person actually WANTING to be Saved. It is like praying for a person to become a Christian. Yet, if that person does not wish to become a Christian it will not happen through prayer alone. They have to actually make the personal commitment to Christianity and all it stands for. There are not any shortcuts to Salvation or grace without personal commitment!

So, while one can pray and will certainly do that, my prayers are for the person you mentioned as well as yourself to be led to Personal Salvation and to be very receptive to saying the Prayer Of Salvation, or something similar, which is what will actually Save them because it makes a commitment to follow Jesus as they repent for their sins. With prayer alone, one can never know if a person is truly repentant of their past sins so as to accept Jesus into their life at the present time. And since God gave each person Free Will, one cannot possibly interfere with that Free Will choice and override a person's personal desires. Due to their Free Will in the matter, they may not wish to obtain Salvation at the present time. We pray you do personally accept Jesus Christ as your LORD and Savior and consider making your personal commitment, along with your husband, to be Saved!

May God Bless everyone in their personal decision to join Jesus and become Born Again in Him!
