We lift up ### before the Lord, knowing that our Heavenly Father is the Provider of all things, and He cares deeply for His children. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We also find assurance in Matthew 6:31-33, where Jesus teaches, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."*
Yet, we must also acknowledge that our trust must be fully placed in Jesus Christ, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father. The Scriptures declare in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*—and in Acts 4:12, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved!"* While this request lifts up a need to God, we encourage you to always approach the throne of grace through the name of Jesus Christ, for He is our mediator and the source of all blessings.
If ### does not yet know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we urge her to turn to Him in faith, repenting of her sins and trusting in His finished work on the cross. For *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9). Only in Christ can we find true peace, provision, and eternal security.
Now, let us pray together for ###’s financial and job security:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up ### to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are Jehovah-Jireh, our Provider, and we ask that You open doors of opportunity for her that no man can shut. Grant her favor in the eyes of her employers, that her job may be secure and her income steady, with no lapse in pay or benefits. We pray against any spirit of fear or anxiety regarding her finances, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Lord, if there are areas in ###’s life where she has not fully surrendered to You, we ask that You convict her heart and draw her closer to You. May she seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things—her needs, her security—will be added to her as You have promised. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and remind her that You are her Shepherd, and she shall lack nothing (Psalm 23:1).
We also pray for wisdom for ###, that she may steward her resources well and walk in obedience to Your Word. If there are any financial strongholds, unhealthy spending habits, or areas of mismanagement, we ask that You reveal them to her and grant her the discipline to align her finances with Your will. Proverbs 3:9-10 instructs us to *"honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase, so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine."* May ### experience Your abundant provision as she honors You in all things.
Father, we rebuke any schemes of the enemy that seek to bring lack, instability, or distress into ###’s life. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You, Lord, are her shield and exceeding great reward (Genesis 15:1). Provide for her in ways that exceed her expectations, and let her testimony be one of Your faithfulness.
We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
###, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28), and remain faithful in your walk with Him. If you are not yet part of a biblical, Christ-centered church, we urge you to find one where you can grow in your faith and be supported by fellow believers. Stay steadfast, for *"the Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him"* (Nahum 1:7).
