Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing your heart and allowing us to pray with you. We are bringing you, your children, your household, and your extended family before the Lord.
We pray first for your spiritual life and for your home. God created marriage to be a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and He intends that sexual union and living together as husband and wife belong within that covenant. Because He loves you and wants what is best for you, we pray that you and your partner would both draw near to Jesus Christ and seek to honor Him in your relationship. We ask that the Lord would give you wisdom, conviction, and grace to order your home according to His Word, whether that means moving toward marriage in purity or, if that is not His will, walking in holiness before Him. We pray that your love for each other would be marked by faithfulness, self control, and a shared desire to follow Christ together.
We also pray for your children and for the practical needs you mentioned. We ask God to provide steady work to sustain your family, to give health and strength, and to help your children do well in school and college. We pray that He would guard their hearts and minds and help you as parents to raise them in the knowledge of the Lord.
For your parents, brother, sister, and friends who do not yet know Christ, we join you in prayer for their salvation. Salvation is not by our own effort but by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ alone, His work on the cross received by believing. You are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, and He is able to make that same new creation in those you love. Scripture shows that when the word of the Lord was spoken to a household, those who heard and believed were saved and rejoiced together. So continue to pray with faith and to lovingly share the word of the Lord with your family as God gives opportunity, trusting Him to draw them to Himself. Do not give up praying for your loved ones.
We also pray that you would know the comfort of belonging to the family of God, where He places us together and builds us into a dwelling place for Himself. May you experience His presence, His provision, and His power to transform every part of your life.
Father, we lift this family to You in the name of Jesus. Draw each one to Yourself, forgive sin, grant new life through faith in Your Son, and lead this home into obedience to Your Word. Provide for their daily needs, protect their health, guide their studies and work, and save those among their relatives and friends who have not yet believed. Make this household a testimony of Your grace. Amen.
