We rejoice with you in this important milestone of your life, preparing to graduate from high school. It's wonderful to hear that you are seeking God's help and putting your trust in Him.
First, let's address the concern about sickness. It's important to remember that God is our healer and protector. As it says in Psalm 91:3-4 (WEB), "For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart." We pray that God surrounds you with His protection and keeps you healthy during this time.
However, it's also crucial to remember that our ultimate trust should be in God, not in our health. As Jesus said in Matthew 6:34 (WEB), "So don’t be anxious for tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." We encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, as Peter tells us in 1 Peter 5:7 (WEB), "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
Regarding your academic challenges, we trust that God will give you the strength and wisdom to complete your assignments and graduate. As Philippians 4:13 reminds us, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (WEB)
We also want to gently remind you that while it's important to ask for God's help in our earthly endeavors, our ultimate goal should be to glorify Him and seek His kingdom first, as Matthew 6:33 tells us, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
We praise God that you ended your request acknowledging the power of Jesus' name. As it says in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this dear one as they prepare to graduate. We ask, Lord, that You surround them with Your protection, keeping them healthy and strong. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, trusting in Your care. Grant them the strength and wisdom to complete their academic tasks and graduate. Most of all, Lord, help them to keep their eyes on You, seeking Your kingdom first. We ask all this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
