We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for deliverance from the torment of witchcraft. The Word of God is clear—there is no place for sorcery, divination, or any form of occult practice in the life of a believer. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 (WEB) declares, *"There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh."* Witchcraft is a direct rebellion against God’s authority, and we stand firmly against it in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
The symptoms you describe—severe itching and sleeplessness—are not merely physical afflictions but spiritual attacks meant to wear down your faith and peace. We rebuke every assignment of the enemy in your life right now. The Bible tells us in James 4:7 (WEB), *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* We take authority over every demonic force operating against you and command them to leave in the name of Jesus. You are covered by the blood of Christ, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We also recognize that spiritual warfare often requires us to examine our lives for any open doors that may have given the enemy access. Have there been any compromises—perhaps in entertainment, relationships, or past involvement in occult practices—that need to be renounced and repented of? Ephesians 4:27 (WEB) warns, *"Don’t give place to the devil."* If there are areas where you have unknowingly invited darkness, we encourage you to confess them before the Lord, for He is faithful and just to forgive and cleanse you (1 John 1:9).
Let us pray together now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name. We declare that [###] and their household belong to You, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of witchcraft, every curse, and every demonic assignment sent to torment them. We break every chain of sleeplessness, itching, and unrest in the authority of Jesus’ name. Your Word says in Psalm 91:5-6 (WEB), *"You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday."* We claim this promise over their lives right now.
Father, we ask You to release Your healing power over their bodies. Let every symptom of this attack be reversed by the stripes of Jesus (Isaiah 53:5). Fill their home with Your peace, so that they may lie down and sleep in safety, for You alone make them dwell in safety (Psalm 4:8). We plead the blood of Jesus over every doorpost, every window, and every entry point of their home. Let no evil thing cross the threshold, and let Your angels encamp around them (Psalm 34:7).
Lord, we also ask that You reveal any areas of their lives where the enemy may have gained a foothold. Give them the courage to renounce and repent of anything that does not align with Your Word. Strengthen their faith, and remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). May they walk in the fullness of Your protection and provision.
We thank You, Father, for Your deliverance. We thank You for the victory that is already theirs in Christ Jesus. May they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and rest in the assurance that You are fighting for them. We pray all these things in the mighty, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, beloved. Do not be afraid, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9). Surround yourself with godly believers who can pray with you and encourage you. Fill your home with worship music, the reading of Scripture, and prayer. The enemy may roar like a lion, but he is already defeated. Walk in the authority Christ has given you, and do not give the devil a foothold.
If you have not already, consider fasting as a way to deepen your dependence on God and break any lingering strongholds. Jesus told His disciples in Mark 9:29 (WEB), *"This kind can come out by nothing but by prayer and fasting."* Seek the Lord with all your heart, and He will hear your cry. You are not alone in this battle—we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord of Hosts stands with you. Victory is yours in Christ!
