We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for deliverance from the oppression of witchcraft and the fear it has sown. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we declare that no weapon formed against God’s children shall prosper, and every tongue that rises in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). The harassment you’ve endured—dirty things thrown outside your home, the spirit of fear, and the torment from neighbors—is not from the Lord. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke the works of darkness in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for He has disarmed principalities and powers, making a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2:15).
First, we must address the sin that has taken root in the lives of those causing this torment. The neighbor living in a relationship outside of marriage is walking in disobedience to God’s design for intimacy, which is reserved solely for the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman (Hebrews 13:4, Genesis 2:24). This sin opens doors to spiritual warfare, and we pray that their eyes would be opened to the truth. Father, we ask that You convict their hearts with Your Holy Spirit, leading them to repentance and a right relationship with You. If they refuse to turn from their sin, we pray that You would remove them from this place, for Your Word says that a little leaven leavens the whole lump (1 Corinthians 5:6). Let their departure bring peace and restoration to this home.
We also recognize that witchcraft is a direct rebellion against God’s authority. The Bible is clear: there shall not be found among you anyone who practices witchcraft, for all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). We bind every spirit of witchcraft, fear, and torment operating against this household in Jesus’ name. We break every curse, hex, or spell sent against you and declare that the blood of Jesus Christ covers and protects you. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your refuge and fortress; in Him you shall trust (Psalm 91:2).
We pray for a hedge of protection around this home, that no evil shall befall you, nor any plague come near your dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We declare that this home is a place of prayer, worship, and refuge, and the enemy has no authority here. The Lord will command His angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11). We also pray for wisdom and discernment to walk in God’s ways and to resist the devil, so he will flee (James 4:7).
Father, we ask that You expose any hidden works of darkness in this situation. Let Your light shine into every corner, revealing the schemes of the enemy. If there are any areas where fear has taken root in the hearts of those in this home, we ask that You uproot it and replace it with faith. Perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18), and we pray that Your perfect love would fill this place. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them stand firm on Your promises. Remind them that You have not given them a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind.
We also lift up the testimony that will come from this trial. The enemy meant this for harm, but God will turn it for good (Genesis 50:20). We pray that as deliverance comes, this household will be a beacon of light in their community, sharing the goodness of God with others. Let their story bring glory to Your name and draw others to You. We declare that the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy (Revelation 19:10), and we speak forth victory over this situation.
Finally, we pray for those who have been involved in these attacks. Father, we ask that You would open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Let them see the emptiness of their ways and the destruction they are bringing upon themselves. Draw them to repentance, Lord, and let them find salvation in Jesus Christ. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that they would turn from their wicked ways and seek You with all their hearts.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and Your promise to never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We trust in You, Lord, and we believe that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We declare that this household will walk in freedom, peace, and victory. Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done in this place, as it is in heaven. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
