We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for deliverance from evil attacks. First, we give thanks and praise to the Lord Jesus Christ, for it is only through His name and by His blood that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome the schemes of the enemy. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved, and we must always approach God in the name of Jesus, for He alone is our mediator and advocate.
The Bible makes it clear that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10 WEB). These attacks you describe—fear, unnecessary arguments, and heightened spiritual oppression during certain times—are not coincidences but the work of the evil one. However, we take heart, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4 WEB).
We rebuke the spirit of fear in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). We also rebuke the spirit of strife and division, for where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there (James 3:16 WEB). The enemy wants to disrupt your peace and sow discord, but we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).
We pray that you would be covered and cleansed by the precious blood of Jesus, which speaks better things than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24 WEB). The blood of Jesus is our protection, our atonement, and our victory. We plead the blood of Jesus over your life, your home, your mind, and your spirit. Let the enemy flee in the presence of the blood, for it is written, "They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony" (Revelation 12:11 WEB).
We also encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11 WEB). Stand firm with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, the breastplate of righteousness in place, your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, the shield of faith to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:14-17 WEB). Prayer and fasting are also powerful weapons in spiritual warfare, and we encourage you to seek the Lord earnestly in these disciplines.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your protection and Your promise to deliver us from every evil attack. We ask that You would break every chain of fear, strife, and oppression that the enemy has tried to place upon this dear one. Cover them with Your precious blood, Lord, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
We declare that no evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling, for You have given Your angels charge over them to keep them in all their ways (Psalm 91:10-11 WEB). We bind every spirit of fear, confusion, and division in the name of Jesus and command them to flee. We loose the peace of God, the joy of the Lord, and the power of the Holy Spirit to fill their life, home, and every situation.
Father, we ask that You would grant them discernment to recognize the enemy’s tactics and wisdom to stand firm in Your truth. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to walk in the victory that is already theirs through Christ Jesus. We pray for permanent deliverance, that the enemy would be defeated once and for all in this area of their life. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let Your truth set them free (John 8:32 WEB).
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer. We trust in Your promises and declare that the enemy is a defeated foe. May this dear one walk in the freedom, peace, and protection that is found only in You. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
