Please pray for default divorce

NEWHOPE

Beloved of All
Please pray for default divorce / Jesus shield me from this person . and Protect me from all danger and harm . I believe in LOVE and i pray for your will THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING SO FAR everything is progressing towards Thank you Sweet Jesus amen

We hear your cry for protection and deliverance in this difficult season of divorce. First, we must address the mention of "LOVE" in a way that may not align with biblical truth. While love is central to our faith, we must remember that God’s love is holy, just, and pure, never condoning sin or harm. The Bible tells us, "God is love" (1 John 4:8), but this love is defined by His righteousness, not human emotion alone. We must seek His will above all else, trusting that His plans for us are good, even when they involve pain or separation.

Divorce is a heavy burden, and we grieve with you over the brokenness it represents. Scripture is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant before God, meant to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). However, we also recognize that sin and hardness of heart can lead to divorce (Matthew 19:8), and in such cases, we must seek God’s healing and protection. You are right to ask for Jesus’ shield, He is our refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). We rebuke any schemes of the enemy to bring further harm, fear, or bitterness into your life. The name of Jesus is our authority, and we stand on His promise: "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail" (Isaiah 54:17).

We also gently correct the phrase "I believe in LOVE", while love is essential, our faith must be anchored in Jesus Christ alone. There is no salvation, no protection, and no true love apart from Him. "Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me’" (John 14:6). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your heart fully to Him, confessing any sin and trusting in His grace for forgiveness and renewal.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is walking through the pain of divorce. Lord, You see the weight of this burden, and You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We ask for Your divine protection over their life, shield them from all danger, harm, and the schemes of the enemy. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let Your peace guard their heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, bitterness, or unforgiveness that may try to take root. Fill this precious one with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in forgiveness and trust in Your sovereignty. Heal their wounds, Lord, and restore their hope. Help them to see Your hand at work, even in this difficult season.

We pray for the other party involved in this divorce, that Your conviction and grace would lead them to repentance and truth. If there is any ungodly influence or hardness of heart, we ask You to soften it, Lord.

Above all, we ask that You draw this one closer to You. Let them know the depth of Your love, which is not based on human feelings but on Your unchanging character. May they find their identity, security, and purpose in Christ alone.

We declare that this season will not define them, but rather, it will refine them for Your glory. Strengthen them, Lord, and let them walk in the victory that is already theirs through Jesus Christ.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to cling to God’s Word in this time. Meditate on Scriptures like Psalm 23, Psalm 91, and Romans 8:28, which remind us that God works all things together for good for those who love Him. If you are not already connected to a Bible-believing church or community, we urge you to seek one out, you do not have to walk this path alone. God’s people are called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and we are here to support you in prayer.

Lastly, if there are any unresolved sins, such as bitterness, unforgiveness, or even past actions that contributed to this divorce, we encourage you to confess them before the Lord. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). His grace is sufficient, and His mercy is new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). Trust in Him, and He will lead you into a future filled with hope.

Thank you for trusting us with this. We hear the relief in your words that things are moving forward, and we understand the deep need to be shielded and kept safe. When a marriage ends, it can feel like walking through a storm, and it’s completely natural to cry out for Jesus to be your protector. We’re grateful with you for every sign of progress so far, and we’re holding you up in prayer right now.

We ask Jesus to cover you, to be a wall of defense around your heart, your body, and your whole life. May any fear or threat that rises against you fall away in His presence. He knows exactly where you are and He hasn’t let go of you.

As you continue to seek His will, we pray you’ll find steady peace, even in the middle of uncertainty. Let His love anchor you, and let each day bring a little more healing and a little more courage.

Lord Jesus, thank You for hearing this precious person. We ask You to guard them from all danger and harm, nothing catches You off guard. Shut every door to evil and calm their heart with Your nearness. Give them wisdom for what’s ahead, and let Your perfect will unfold in every detail. Surround them with safe people who will pray and stand with them. Remind them that they are deeply loved and never alone. We trust Your goodness, and we thank You for what You have already done and will continue to do. In Your strong name we pray, amen.

A shield is of no use except it be well handled, and now is the hour to grasp firmly the shield of faith. You cry out for a shield against this person and the danger of a default divorce, and well you may, for we are ever in danger of falling, not only the weak, but also the strong. Yet faith, like a shield, protects against every attack. He that has true faith, the faith of God’s elect, has such a shield that he shall see the swords of his enemies shivered upon it. But take heed: it must be a shield of proof, and it must be upon your arm, not hanging idle at home. Let your soul say with the Psalmist, “You, O Lord, are a shield for me.”

You ask Jesus to shield you from this person and from all harm, and that is a right prayer, for “It is Christ that died” becomes both our sword and our shield when the dread conflict rages. Tell the accuser, tell the world, tell your own trembling heart, that Christ died for you, and thus you are sheltered. Jesus finds you before you find Him; it is He who calls you now to rest beneath His wing. Do not dream that you must wait for a feeling: handle the shield now! The Spartan soldier must come back with his shield, or be brought back upon it, never cast it away. Let nothing pry from your grip your confidence in Jesus, who is All in All.

This divorce, this bitter severing, is a sharp trial, but the danger lies not in the decree of men, but in doubting the goodness of thy God. His will is often a silver side to the shield we see only as gold; trust Him when you cannot trace Him. Cast not away your hope because a human love fails, for you have a sweeter name to lean upon, Jesus, the Friend of sinners, the Husband of the widow and the fatherless. Jesus of Nazareth is Jesus of Bethlehem too; He was with you in the crib of your first faith, and He shall be with you in the grave of this despair and beyond it. Keep your shield high, and remember: whether a Joshua of old or the greater Jesus, the name means “Savior”, and He shall save you from all danger, even from yourself.

Fight the temptation to let this trial rust your heart or moth your peace. The danger of carnal security is as real as that of sudden panic. Stand watchful therefore, confessing every sin, trusting every moment, and let this be your song: “I’m a poor sinner, and nothing at all / But Jesus Christ is my All in All.” May His Spirit lead you to rely upon Jesus now, and He will preserve you without spot until the day of His appearing. Amen.

The cry of your heart reaches the throne of God, and your plea for deliverance is heard. It is right that you turn to Jesus alone for a shield, and you speak truly that love and His will must stand above all things. But weigh carefully what love demands, for God Himself is love, and His love binds marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman. A default divorce, sought while the other is silent or absent, must not spring from a love of ease or fear of hardship, lest we imitate Demas, who forsook the apostle because he loved this present world and chose security over suffering with the saints.

If, however, this person brings you into grave danger, whether to your soul or your body, then flight and separation may be no sin but an act of faith. Joseph did not remain in Bethlehem to test God; he took the Child and His mother and departed into Egypt, for it is a diabolical thing to leap into foreseen harm and say, "Let me see whether God will save me." Yet do not let your faith be scanty, covering only a part of you while leaving your feet exposed to the darts of the evil one. Let it be a full shield, commensurate with your whole frame, quenching the fiery arrows of anger, despair, and impure desire. In dangers, in toils, hold out hope and faith to protect you, and your armor shall not be injured.

I will pray that Jesus shelters you from every evil, grants you wisdom to discern His righteous will, and keeps your soul steadfast. For the true peril is not that which threatens the body, but the danger of the soul, which the devil brings. God is faithful, and He mingles refreshments with trials, as He did with Joseph, the Magi, and all the saints. Thank Him for the progress you see, but trust Him for the outcome, knowing that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. May He guide you into peace and preserve you from all harm. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
