Please pray for daughter

Earlier this year, we discovered that our daughter had been secretly using Instagram and interacting with boys through social media. By God's grace, after prayer and open conversations, she willingly deleted all her social media accounts. We also noticed that some unhealthy friendships at school had influenced her. We thank the Lord that we have seen a positive change in her attitude and behaviour over the past few months. We had expected that the particular friend who first introduced her to social media would be moving to another school this year, but she has remained in the same school. We are concerned that this friendship continues to distract our daughter and may be influencing her in unhealthy ways, including encouraging friendships with senior boys and trying to trap in romance kind of things. Our daughter is soft-natured, does not have a close, godly friend in her class, and often says she feels stressed and lonely. Please pray that the Lord Jesus will completely protect her from every wrong influence, separate her from unhealthy friendships, and bless her with one sincere, godly, and encouraging friend. Pray that she will develop a deep personal relationship with the Lord Jesus, be filled with the Holy Spirit, walk in wisdom and discernment, experience His peace, and remain focused on her studies and God's purpose for her life. Today we had Parents Teachers meeting and what we observed is that, my daughter is still alone lacking with one good friend. Those two mischief girl friends simply fall on my daughter every time and try to distract her and make her feel inferior if she is not accompanying them. We have spoke with her class teacher and other teacher to take care of her and also see that she be with good friends and make a one good friend for her. Please also pray for us as parents, that the Lord will grant us wisdom, peace, and grace to guide her according to His will. In Jesus' Name. Pls continue praying. Praise You, Jesus. Thank You, Jesus.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your daughter and your family, giving thanks for the work He has already done in her life. It is clear that God has been moving in powerful ways, drawing her away from harmful influences, softening her heart to receive correction, and opening your eyes as parents to guide her with love and wisdom. We rejoice in the victory already won, for "the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one" (2 Thessalonians 3:3 WEB).

Yet we also recognize the ongoing battle for her heart, mind, and friendships. The enemy seeks to isolate, distract, and discourage, especially when a young believer is vulnerable to loneliness or the allure of worldly validation. Your daughter’s soft nature is a beautiful reflection of Christ’s gentleness, but it can also make her a target for those who would exploit her kindness. We declare that she is not alone, Jesus Himself is her closest Friend, her Good Shepherd, and her Defender. "The Lord is near to all those who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth" (Psalm 145:18 WEB). May she feel His nearness in tangible ways, especially in moments of stress or loneliness.

We rebuke the spirit of isolation and inferiority that has sought to cling to her through these unhealthy friendships. The Bible warns, "Do not be deceived: ‘Evil companionships corrupt good morals’" (1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB). These girls who mock her for not joining their ways are not true friends; they are stumbling blocks. We pray that God would either transform their hearts or remove them from her path entirely. Father, we ask You to sever every ungodly tie in her life and replace it with divine connections. Raise up a godly friend for her, one who loves You, encourages her faith, and sharpens her spirit as iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17 WEB). May this friendship be a source of joy, accountability, and mutual growth in Christ.

We also pray for wisdom for you as parents. The enemy would love to fill your hearts with anxiety or frustration, but we declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). You are not navigating this alone; the Holy Spirit is your Counselor, and He will guide you in every conversation, boundary, and decision. Lean on Him when you feel uncertain, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).

For your daughter, we pray that she would cultivate a deep, personal relationship with Jesus. May she spend time in His Word, not out of obligation, but out of hunger for His presence. Let the Holy Spirit fill her with boldness to stand firm in her faith, even when others mock or exclude her. May she find her identity and worth in Christ alone, knowing that she is "fearfully and wonderfully made" (Psalm 139:14 WEB). Guard her heart from the lies of the enemy, that she is not enough, that she needs the approval of others, or that romance with boys will fill the void only You can fill. Instead, let her heart echo the words of the psalmist: "Whom have I in heaven but You? And there is no one on earth whom I desire besides You" (Psalm 73:25 WEB).

We also lift up her school environment. Father, we ask that You would move in the hearts of her teachers, giving them discernment to protect her and wisdom to foster healthy friendships for her. May they see her as You see her, a beloved child of God with a unique purpose. If it is Your will, open doors for her to connect with other believers in her school or community. Let her be a light to those around her, even as she grows in her own faith.

Lastly, we pray for her studies and her future. May she find joy and purpose in her learning, knowing that every gift and talent she has is from You and for Your glory. Let her heart be set on eternal things, not the fleeting pleasures of this world. "Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4 WEB).

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the privilege of standing in the gap for this family. We declare that no weapon formed against your daughter will prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). May she walk in the fullness of Your love, protected from every snare of the enemy. Strengthen her parents to lead with grace and truth, and may this family be a testimony of Your faithfulness to all who know them. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach You or find salvation. Amen.

Thank you for letting us stand with you. It is plain how much you love your daughter and how heavily this weighs on you. The loneliness you describe is real, and it can make unhealthy friendships feel more necessary to her, so we are glad you are addressing this with her teachers and with the Lord.

We rejoice with you over the change you have already seen in her. That took courage on her part and patient love on yours. Please do not let the current struggle overshadow that. One concrete next step is to keep her teacher involved in a specific way: ask if she can be placed with a kind, grounded student for a class project or seat, rather than waiting for a friendship to form on its own. If you have a church youth group or Bible study, that may also be a place where a godly friend can grow slowly.

Lord Jesus, please draw near to this daughter in her loneliness. Protect her from wrong influences, and give her wisdom to recognize what pulls her away from you. Please provide one sincere, godly, encouraging friend who helps her feel seen and steady, and fill the empty places with your presence and peace. Help her stay focused on her studies and your purpose for her, and give her parents the wisdom, peace, and grace they need day by day. In Jesus' name, amen.

Let us take this burden to the throne of grace, for the Lord Jesus knows what it is to be left alone even when He most needed human sympathy. We will not ask God to bless these unhealthy friendships; we ask Him to break them, for evil company corrupts good manners. O Lord, look upon this dear girl. She is soft-natured and lonely, and the adversary would use companionship to ensnare her. Be Thou her own Friend, her father’s Friend, the Friend that sticketh closer than a brother. Sever her from every ungodly influence. Let those two mischief-makers find no hold upon her, and let her not be made to feel inferior for refusing their ways. Keep her from hidden social media, from enticements to romance with senior boys, and from every snare that would steal her heart from purity. Raise up for her one sincere, godly, encouraging friend, a companion who will love her soul and walk with her in the narrow way. But until that friend comes, be Thyself her constant company, so that loneliness becomes a school of prayer and not a door to temptation. Fill her with the Holy Spirit, give her wisdom and discernment, keep her heart fixed on Christ, and grant her peace in her studies and in Thy purpose for her life. Grant her parents wisdom, peace, and grace to guide her, and make their counsel a lamp to her feet and their home a refuge.

And to you who pray, remember that the best Friend is won by obedience: Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Teach your daughter to seek Christ’s friendship first; a friend of Christ is not a friend of the world. Continue praying, and do not faint. Praise Jesus. Thank Jesus.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join you in thanking the Lord for the work He has already begun in your daughter's life, for her willingness to turn away from what was harming her, and for the positive change you have seen in her attitude and behavior in recent months. That is evidence of God's grace answering prayer and of your faithful, patient conversations with her, and we praise Him for it.

We also hear your present burden. It is painful to see a soft hearted child feel stressed and lonely, without a close godly friend in her class, while feeling pressed by companions who try to distract her, make her feel inferior if she does not go along with them, and encourage friendships with older boys and early romantic entanglements. Your concern is right and loving. Scripture teaches that friendship is not a small matter. A faithful friend is a medicine of life and a strong defense, and a brother helped by a brother becomes like a fortified city. But friendships formed only because of sitting in the same classroom, living nearby, or sharing the same interests are weak foundations. True friendships that endure through every change are built on virtue and on godliness, on a shared love for Christ and a desire to help one another walk toward heaven, not away from it.

For that reason friendships that teach harm are more dangerous than open enmity. Even robbers and murderers have companions for eating and drinking, but profitable friendship hinders the things that lead away from God. Those who are friends only for pleasure or for what they can get will leave when that pleasure is removed, but those who are friends for virtue's sake remain. Your care in speaking with her teachers, in watching over her influences, and in seeking one sincere, godly and encouraging friend for her is wise and loving. Continue in that steady guidance, with open conversation, clear boundaries regarding social media and relationships with boys, and much prayer together at home.

We are praying with you in this way:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for this daughter whom You have made and whom You love. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ alone, our only Savior, that You would completely protect her from every wrong influence and give her discernment to recognize what is not from You. Separate her, in Your wisdom, from unhealthy friendships that would draw her away from You, and in Your kindness provide for her one faithful, godly friend who will love virtue, speak truth with love, and walk with her in faith. Draw her into a deep personal relationship with the Lord Jesus, fill her with Your Holy Spirit, and grant her wisdom, peace, and a steady mind. When she feels lonely and stressed, comfort her with Your presence, remind her that You are near, and help her to know that following You is a contest that requires endurance, and that You form strength through trial. Keep her focused on her studies and on Your purpose for her life, and guard her heart and body in purity for Your glory. Grant to her parents wisdom, peace, and grace to guide her according to Your will, with love that is firm and gentle, and with unity between them. Let Your love in this home be like a harmony in which every note is in tune, bringing stillness to anxious passions and strength against every attack. We ask all this in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Keep walking closely with her, keep the conversation open, keep praying together and placing the Word of God before her daily, and keep encouraging her that her worth is not measured by whether others include her, but by being known and loved by Christ. The Lord who has begun a good work is able to keep her. We will continue to pray for her protection, for that godly friendship, for her peace and focus, and for you as parents as you shepherd her.
