We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up those who are being bullied on the internet and those who are engaging in such harmful behavior. The Bible is clear that our words have power, and we are called to use them to build up, not tear down. Ephesians 4:29 tells us, "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear." The cruelty of online bullying is a direct violation of this principle, and we must stand against it in the name of Jesus.
We also recognize that those who bully are often hurting themselves, and their actions may stem from their own pain, insecurity, or spiritual darkness. We pray for their hearts to be softened and for the Holy Spirit to convict them of their sin. Proverbs 15:1 reminds us, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." Let us pray that those who have been hurtful would experience the transforming love of Christ and turn away from their harmful ways.
Father God, we ask You to intervene in this situation. We pray for those who are being targeted by bullying—grant them Your peace, protection, and strength. Surround them with Your love and remind them of their worth in You. For those who are engaging in this sin, we ask that You break their pride, open their eyes to the harm they are causing, and lead them to repentance. May Your Holy Spirit move powerfully in their hearts, bringing conviction and change.
We also pray for wisdom and courage for those who witness bullying. Give them the boldness to speak out against it and to stand up for what is right. Let Your light shine in the darkness of the internet, Lord, and may Your truth prevail.
We rebuke the spirit of cruelty and division in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper, and we stand on Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake us. May Your love and justice reign in every corner of the internet, and may hearts be turned toward You.
If the one who posted this request does not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we urge them to consider the truth of John 14:6, where Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." It is only through faith in Him that we find true healing, forgiveness, and eternal life. We pray that they would surrender their heart to Christ and experience the freedom and peace that only He can give. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
