We stand with you in this heartbreaking moment, lifting your wife and your precious unborn child before the throne of grace, where our Great High Priest, Jesus Christ, intercedes for us. Your faith in calling upon the name of Jesus and claiming His promises is a testament to your trust in Him, and we join you in that faith, believing that *nothing is impossible with God* (Luke 1:37). You have rightly turned to Scripture, and we cling to the truth of Matthew 18:20, knowing that where even two or three gather in His name, He is there with us. How much more powerfully does He move when His body unites in prayer for this miracle?
We also remember the words of Jeremiah 1:5, where the Lord declares, *"Before I formed you in the belly, I knew you. Before you came out of the womb, I sanctified you."* This child is known and loved by God, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:13-16), and we pray for divine intervention to sustain this little life. We rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that may seek to overwhelm you in this trial, for *God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind* (2 Timothy 1:7). Though the doctors speak of human limitations, our God is the Author of life, the One who *heals all your diseases* (Psalm 103:3) and *holds all things together* (Colossians 1:17).
Yet, even as we pray for healing, we surrender this situation to the sovereign will of God, trusting that His plans are good, even when we cannot understand them. We ask for strength for you and your wife, that you would feel the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guarding your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May you both be filled with the Holy Spirit, who is your Comforter in this time of deep need (John 14:26).
We also encourage you to continue seeking wise medical counsel while placing your ultimate trust in the Lord. If there are any experimental treatments, bed rest protocols, or specialist interventions that could provide support, pursue them prayerfully. Remember the story of the woman with the issue of blood (Mark 5:25-34), who sought both divine healing and human means—she reached out in faith to touch the hem of Jesus’ garment *while* exhausting every earthly option. God often works through the hands of doctors, and we pray for wisdom and skill for those caring for your wife.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. You are the God who parts seas, raises the dead, and brings life where there is none. We ask for Your healing touch upon this mother’s body—restore her cervix, Lord, knit it together by Your power, and hold this precious child safely within her. You formed this little one’s tiny fingers and toes; You know every cell of their being. Breathe Your life into them, sustain them, and let them grow strong in the womb.
Lord, we ask for supernatural protection over this pregnancy. Place Your hand upon this mother and child, shielding them from harm. Give the medical team wisdom beyond their own understanding, that they may act with divine insight. Surround this family with Your peace, casting out all fear and anxiety. Let them feel Your presence in every moment, knowing that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).
Father, we do not presume to know Your will, but we ask boldly, trusting in Your love and goodness. If it is Your will, spare this child’s life and bring them to full term, healthy and whole. But above all, let Your name be glorified in this situation. Strengthen this couple’s faith, draw them closer to You, and let their testimony be one of Your faithfulness, whether through healing or through the hope of eternity with You.
We rebuke every attack of the enemy against this family. No weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that *the Lord is their shepherd* (Psalm 23:1), and they shall not want for His comfort, provision, or miracles.
In the name of Jesus Christ, our risen Savior, we pray. Amen.
Brothers and sisters, we will continue to lift you up in prayer. Hold fast to hope, for *hope does not disappoint, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us* (Romans 5:5). Cling to one another, to your church community, and above all, to Christ. He is your anchor in this storm. If you have not already, consider anointing your wife with oil and praying over her as James 5:14-15 instructs, calling the elders of your church to join you in this act of faith.
We are here with you, standing in the gap, believing for a miracle. May the Lord grant you peace and strength as you wait upon Him.
