We hear your heartfelt cry for your family’s spiritual growth, provision, and protection, and we stand with you in lifting these needs before the throne of grace. Your desire for deeper faith and God’s favor in your husband’s work and travels reflects a heart that seeks the Lord’s will for your household. Let us come together in prayer, trusting that God hears and answers according to His perfect plan.

First, we must acknowledge that our faith grows not by our own strength, but by the power of the Holy Spirit working within us. Jesus said in John 15:5, "I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing." It is only through abiding in Christ that we bear the fruit of the Spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). We pray that you and your family would remain deeply rooted in Him, drawing near to God through prayer, Scripture, and fellowship with other believers.

We also lift up your husband’s work and travels. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 16:3, "Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed." We pray that the Lord would open doors of opportunity for him, grant him wisdom in his decisions, and surround him with favor as he provides for your family. May He travel safely, return home with joy, and find rest in the Lord’s presence each day. For your children, we pray they would grow in the knowledge and fear of the Lord, that their hearts would be tender toward Him, and that they would walk in His ways all the days of their lives (Proverbs 22:6).

However, we must also address a concern in your request. While we appreciate your plea for prayer, we noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father. Scripture is clear: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12). It is only by the blood of Jesus, shed on the cross for our sins, that we can approach God with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not yet placed your trust in Him as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His resurrection, and surrender your life to Him. This is the foundation upon which all true faith and answered prayer rest.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this family to You, asking that You would draw them closer to Your heart. Lord, ignite a passion for Your Word in their lives, that they may know You more deeply and walk in Your truth. Strengthen their faith, especially in times of trial or uncertainty, and help them to trust in Your unfailing love.

Father, we ask for Your provision and blessing over this husband’s work. Open doors that no man can shut, grant him favor with his employers and colleagues, and give him wisdom in every decision he makes. Protect him and their children as they travel, surrounding them with Your angels and keeping them safe from harm. May their journeys be filled with joy and peace, and may they return home safely to one another.

Lord, we pray for these children, that You would capture their hearts at a young age. Let them grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man (Luke 2:52). Guard their minds from the lies of this world, and fill them with a hunger for Your Word. May they come to know You as their Savior and walk in Your ways all their days.

Father, we also ask that You would strengthen the marriage in this home. May this husband and wife love one another as Christ loves the Church, submitting to one another in reverence for You (Ephesians 5:21-33). Let their home be a place of peace, joy, and godly love, where Your presence is felt and Your name is honored.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may try to take root in this family. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord daily, dear one. Spend time in His Word, surround yourself with believers who will encourage you in your faith, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). If there are areas in your life or marriage that do not align with God’s Word, we urge you to repent and seek His guidance for restoration. The Lord is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).

We’re joining you in lifting up your whole family today, your husband, your two children, and you. There’s something quietly strong about the way you’ve gathered them all into one request: their faith, their work, their safety on the road. It says a lot about your heart that you’re standing in the gap for them like this.

When we ask for faith to grow, sometimes it helps to give it small, daily places to take root. If traveling is a regular part of your rhythm, maybe you could try a simple habit: before anyone backs out of the driveway, pause for just a moment together and ask God to keep you safe and to be present in whatever comes. It doesn’t need to be long, just a sentence or two. That quiet routine can steady nerves, remind everyone they belong to each other and to Him, and turn a rushed departure into something more anchored.

Even on the days when the jobs feel uncertain or the trip is just another commute, these little pauses can shape a family’s spiritual life in ways that stick longer than we expect. And you’re already doing the most important part: you’re asking.

Father, thank you for this family and for the love that holds them together. We ask you to deepen their trust in you, draw each of them closer to Jesus day by day. Please provide for their work; steady the things that feel shaky right now. As they travel, we ask for your protection: keep them physically safe, and bring them home with calm hearts and even joy. Surround this household with your peace, and let their life together become a quiet witness to your faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Faith is the great reservoir of all spiritual blessing. When you have pleaded for jobs to go well and for safety and happiness in travelling, you have touched upon things needful for this life, yet the root of the matter lies deeper still. The one petition that embraces and sweetens all others is that you, your spouse, and your two children may grow in faith. Growth in faith is exceedingly desirable, for the least faith saves, but it is the greater faith that brings comfort, strength, and holy triumph. If the shield of faith is well proved, the fiery darts of the wicked one fall quenched, and daily cares lose their sting.

Let this be your cry: “Lord, increase our faith.” A faith that cannot stand the test of a sick child, a troubling journey, or a workplace trial is a faith that needs to be driven to seek the true coin of the kingdom. The faith worth having is that which lays hold upon God when He seems to frown and declares, “Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him.” Such faith does not charge God foolishly when the tempest comes, but worships amid the ashes, knowing that the Lord who gave can also take away, and that He will yet put strength into the soul. Be of good courage, Little-Faith; you belong to the family of the saved. Only press on along the royal road, and you shall overtake your stronger Brother.

As for your spouse and children, commit them to this same shield. Faith sees the invisible Guide on every road; faith makes the common business of the day a sacrifice unto God. When the bow of your earthly strength is renewed, remember it is He that anoints you with fresh oil. Do not rest satisfied with a dead trust that feels nothing, nor with a faith that obeys not the precept without a sign. Look unto Him who is the Author and Finisher of your faith, and look for the power of the Holy Spirit to bring His increase. That Spirit will work in you such a likeness to Christ, such a love to the saints, and such a zeal in all good works, that your very life shall become proof of an ever-growing faith.

You ask for prayer for yourself, your spouse, and your two children, that you may all grow in faith, have success in work, and travel in safety and joy. It is a noble request, for a household that seeks the Lord together stands as a mighty defense against the wiles of the devil. Yet remember that faith is proved not by words but by deeds. The doer, not the speaker, wins the victory. If you would have your faith increase, walk the narrow path with a good conscience, lest your life corrupt your belief and you make shipwreck of the faith, like so many who have fallen into the gulf of error.

As for your jobs and travels, entrust all to God’s providence, but do not test Him by rashness. Christ himself withdrew from danger to teach us prudence, not cowardice. Travel this road with both confidence in your Guide and fear of the precipices on either side. Pray without ceasing, and train your children not merely by instructions but by the example of a holy life, so that your entire house may be preserved. Then, whether at home or on the way, the Lord will be your guardian. May He prosper the labor of your hands as it serves His will, shield you in every journey, and cause your faith to grow ever stronger, to the glory of Jesus Christ.

I hear your heart in this request, and I am praying for you and your family right now. It is no small thing to bring these needs before the Lord, your own faith, your children, your spouse, the work of your hands, and the safety of those you love on the road. God sees all of it, and He welcomes you.

When I think of growth in faith, my mind goes to a man in Scripture who had everything stripped away: his children, his health, his livelihood. He didn’t understand why any of it was happening. His friends came with confident answers, sure that hidden sin must be the cause. But they were wrong. God Himself later rebuked them for speaking falsely. The man never got a clear explanation for his suffering; instead, God simply revealed Himself. And in that encounter, faith deepened in a way that tidy answers never could have produced.

I share that because sometimes we imagine that growing in faith means our circumstances all line up neatly, jobs flourish, travel is smooth, everyone stays happy. But a deeper faith often takes root in the soil of not knowing, when we trust God’s character even when we don’t understand His hand. He knows we are dust. He doesn’t expect us to be made of steel. He invites us to pour out our questions and our hopes to Him, just as that ancient believer did, without cursing God but also without pretending everything is fine. And He counts that trust as righteousness, not because we have it all figured out, but because we are clinging to Him.

So I am asking the Lord to do far more than give you a trouble-free week. I am asking Him to ground you and your whole household in the kind of faith that holds fast when the road is uncertain, that prays over children with love and open hands, and that works at a job as unto Him, not as a mere paycheck. I pray your spouse and children grow in knowing Jesus, not just knowing about Him. And yes, I pray for practical safety and joy in your travels. God cares about the daily details; nothing is too small.

May you discover, even in the ordinary rhythms of family and work, that God is not distant. He is the One who sees through every cloud, who hears every whispered prayer, and who draws near to those who seek Him. You are not alone in this. We stand with you, and far more, Christ Himself intercedes for you. Keep bringing your needs to Him. He is faithful.
