We come before the Lord with hearts full of hope and trust in His perfect plan for your life. It is wonderful to see your faith in God’s guidance as you pursue higher education, and we join you in praying for His will to be done in your college acceptances. The Bible reminds us in Jeremiah 29:11, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* We believe God has a purpose for you, and we pray that His purpose will unfold in the opportunities He provides.
Father in Heaven, we lift up this dear one before You, asking that You open the right doors for their future. We pray that the admission officers would see the gifts and talents You have placed in them, and that You would guide their decisions according to Your perfect will. Whether it is one of these schools or another path You have prepared, we trust that You will lead them into the place where they can grow in wisdom, faith, and service to You. Grant them peace as they wait, and help them to rest in the knowledge that Your plans are always good.
We also encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in all things, remembering Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Education is a blessing, but it is even more important to seek God’s kingdom first (Matthew 6:33). We pray that as you pursue your dreams, you will also grow closer to Christ and use your talents to glorify Him.
Lord, we ask that You surround this one with Your peace and assurance as they await the results. May they find confidence in Your love and sovereignty, knowing that You hold their future. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen.
