Please pray for a woman that will have to file a police report

Anonymous

Beloved of All
In 2020 she had been informed that her job was mandating staffs to get covid testings done. The county staff went to her job to do the tests on everyone. She was at the end of the long line getting tested. Before it got to her she noticed a pattern of the county staffs testing people weren't changing out their gloves. They did the same thing with the clients. Then they did her test but they instead aggressively shoved the test the wrong way and it went towards her eye instead. She bled a lot. Her nose hurted for a while. She felt a burning sensation and a stinging sensation. The nose doctor placed on her chart that there was evidence of deviation. She felt like there was a hole in her face for a while. She could feel the air. Had to cover her face. That happened for months. Then she had issues with the eye near where the test was shoved. The eye turned red, drained mucous, had issues getting watery, started draining clear fluid. Months later she had issues with eye twitching, then it went to tongue biting. The neurologist put seizures on her chart because of it. The eye continued getting worst. It drained fluid that stung. Then the eye got puffy, now the eye has vision changes, gets blurry and is sensitive to light. She's started having low blood pressure issues. Her toes and finger tips gets cold, gets numb. She had informed the city about the sodium azide exposure. But now wants to do a police report. Because of anything happens to her. Her son can have the papers on file and on a police report. She has to collect her low blood pressure testings from clinic then she had made copies of her medical documents to turn in with police report. But wants a woman to help her talk because she gets emotional when she thinks and talks about things that have happened. Cause she's the only one taking care of her son. It makes her emotional explaining the incident.

We hear your heart and the deep pain and fear this sister in Christ has endured. What was done to her was not only negligent but cruel, her suffering is real, and her desire to protect her son is a testament to a mother’s love. We stand with her in this moment, lifting her up before the throne of grace, where Jesus, our Great High Priest, intercedes for the afflicted.

Father in Heaven, we come before You with heavy hearts, grieving over the harm that has been done to this precious daughter of Yours. You see every tear she has shed, every moment of pain, and every fear that has gripped her heart. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon her body, strengthen her eyes, restore her nerves, and bring stability to her blood pressure. You are the God who heals, and we trust in Your power to make whole what has been broken.

We also pray for justice, Lord. You tell us in Romans 13:4 that governing authorities are Your servants for good, and we ask that this police report be received with integrity and compassion. Provide her with a kind and understanding woman to assist her, someone who will listen without judgment and help her document the truth. Calm her emotions as she speaks, Father, and let Your peace guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

We rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to paralyze her, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Remind her that even in this storm, she is not alone, You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Give her courage to walk through this process, knowing that You go before her.

We also lift up her son, Lord. Protect him from fear and anxiety as he watches his mother endure this. Surround him with godly influences and remind him that You are his Provider and Protector. May this difficult season draw them both closer to You.

Father, we pray for wisdom for the medical professionals treating her. Guide their hands and minds as they seek to bring healing. And if there has been any injustice or malice in what was done to her, we ask that You expose it and bring it to light. Your Word says that the truth will set us free (John 8:32), and we trust that You will make a way for justice to prevail.

We also take a moment to address the spiritual foundation of this prayer. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to You, Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If this sister does not yet know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we pray that this trial would draw her to the foot of the cross, where she can find forgiveness, redemption, and eternal life. Jesus bore our sins and our sorrows on the cross, and by His wounds, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We invite her to place her trust in Him, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).

Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We bind every spirit of infirmity, fear, and oppression in Jesus’ name, and we release Your healing, Your peace, and Your justice over her life. May she walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You are fighting for her.

We stand on Your promises, Father, and we trust You to bring beauty from ashes and joy from mourning (Isaiah 61:3). Strengthen her faith, deepen her trust in You, and let her testimony be a light to others who are suffering. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We are praying for this woman as she faces the weight of filing this report. What she went through was not a minor mistake, it was a deeply unsettling and painful event, and it has left real marks on her body and her emotions. It is completely understandable that talking about it brings up strong feelings. That is not a sign of weakness, but of how much she has carried these last years. The memory still stirs the same fear and pain, and that is a heavy burden to bear alone.

It is wise that she wants another woman with her when she speaks. Is there a trusted friend, a church sister, or even a victim advocate from a local agency who could go along? Sometimes just having a calm, steady presence in the room can help her find her words without being swept away by the emotion. She does not have to do this by herself.

We also hear the love behind her worry for her son. The fact that she is taking this step while still caring for him, managing her health issues, and gathering medical records shows a quiet strength. She is not giving up, she is fighting to make things right for his future, and that is something to honor.

Let us pray.

Lord Jesus, we bring this dear woman before You now. You know the fear, the burning, the blurred vision, and the crushing weight of retelling this story. Please meet her in that place and steady her spirit. Give her a calm courage as she walks into the police station, and provide the right person to sit beside her and help her speak. Guard her son’s heart and her own, and let this report stand as a protection for them both. We ask for continued wisdom for her doctors, for relief in her body, and for moments of genuine peace in the days ahead. In Your compassionate name we pray. Amen.

The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and there is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. You have suffered grievous hurt, the shove that drew blood, the burning sting, the deviation found, the eye that drains and dims, the seizures, the cold numbness, the failing blood. The very least thing about Christ is healing, and He is near. Healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction; when the Lord comes and dwells with us, the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings.

Calvary is the place for the healing balm. He is able to heal you, and there are times of refreshing, days of visitation, when the power to save is more than usually manifest. Your desire to file this report for your son’s sake is right, but remember that healing must come before serving. When Peter’s wife’s mother lay sick of a fever, Jesus first took her by the hand and lifted her up, and then she ministered.

In your tears and trembling, look to your great Physician. He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. Do not fear that emotion will choke your words; your Lord knows your frame and will be your mouthpiece. Commit your cause to Him, and go in His strength, for even the leaves of His grace are full of healing virtue.

God bless you!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The distress you feel is deep, and the bodily afflictions you describe are severe. It is right to provide for your son’s future and to seek a record of these events. But listen carefully, for your soul’s health matters more than any earthly document. The one who handled you so carelessly and caused such harm, that person, unless they repent, has truly injured themselves. For it is not the one who suffers wrong who is injured, but the one who does wrong. If you are wronged, and you bear it with patience, you are not harmed; you receive a crown. The real wound is the sin in the doer’s heart, not the wound on your body. Do not let your thoughts dwell on accusing them, lest you harm yourself with bitterness. Instead, pray for them. Yes, pray for the one whose actions brought you this trial. Such prayer heals your own soul and stores up treasure in heaven.

You seek someone to help you speak, because emotion overcomes you. That is understandable, but examine that emotion. Does it stir up anger, or does it move you to entrust all to God? Go ahead and file what you must for your son’s security, but approach the matter with a quiet heart. Do not sharpen your tongue against another; sharpen it rather against your own sins. No one can truly injure you unless you injure yourself by clinging to resentment. The injuries of earth cannot cast you out of God’s pasture, where true safety lies. Put on the helmet of salvation, the firm faith that God sees, God judges, and God care for you. He is faithful, whether others acknowledge Him or not.

May the Lord grant you a calm spirit and a trustworthy helper. May He restore your body if it be His will, but more importantly, may He preserve your soul in peace. Your son needs a mother whose heart is guarded by faith, not consumed by the memory of harm. Let this report be a small thing; let your eyes be fixed on the eternal kingdom, where no wrong can enter.

What you’ve described is deeply painful, and it makes complete sense that talking about it stirs up so much emotion. There is nothing weak about feeling that, sometimes the cuts that go unseen take the longest to heal. A physical wound can close in days, but the inner wound, the shock and fear of that moment when someone handled you carelessly and caused real harm, can linger for years. Your tears are not a lack of faith; they are the honest cry of a soul that has carried a heavy burden all alone while also caring for your son. Do not despise that emotion, but don’t let it become a place you stay forever. The feeling itself isn’t the problem, what matters is what you do with it.

You are already doing something courageous by gathering those records and preparing the police report. That is an act of faith and good stewardship over your own life and your son’s future. Too often we get stuck in distress without moving forward, like Saul who wept but never changed. But you are pressing ahead, even when it’s hard. This is a form of the courage Scripture calls for: to do what is right for your people and for your household, trusting that the Lord will do what seems good to Him. The outcome is not entirely in your hands, but taking this step is right.

I want you to know that healing is real, and I don’t just mean a dramatic, instant miracle. God built our bodies with remarkable processes of restoration, and every bit of progress your doctors document, the gradual fading of symptoms, the slow repair of tissue, is still His work. He is the Lord who heals. Sometimes healing comes through medicine, sometimes through time, and sometimes the healing is in our emotions and our memories, where the sting doesn’t vanish all at once but gradually loses its power. What you’ve endured with your nose, your eye, the seizures, the circulation issues, Jesus bears our infirmities. He carried them to the cross. That doesn’t always answer the question of why some recover fully and others walk with lasting scars, but it does mean He is not indifferent. He is near to the brokenhearted.

Filing this report is also a way of reaching out, like the woman who pressed through the crowd to touch hem of Jesus’ garment. She wouldn’t go away until she received help, and her faith, active, persistent faith, moved Him. In the same way, don’t give up advocating for what is needed. It’s right to seek a record for your son’s sake. And as you look for a woman to help you speak, pray for someone of honest report, full of the Spirit and wisdom, who can stand with you calmly. You don’t have to carry this alone, even if you feel like your world has narrowed to just you and your son.

The deepest weariness you feel, the thirst for justice and safety and wholeness, won’t finally be satisfied by any report or legal step or even by regaining perfect health. Only Jesus can meet the thirst of your spirit. Come to Him with all of it, the fear, the anger, the loneliness, and drink. Let the strong emotions push you onto Him, not away into despair. I am praying that as you take these practical steps, you will also find His courage rising in you, and that over the months ahead you will see healing, little by little, in your body and in your heart.
