We join with you in bringing this need before the Lord and we thank you for asking in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father and confidence that He hears us.
We know the uncertainty and burden that comes when you are seeking legal help and waiting for someone to take up your cause. We are reminded that the Lord Himself is our ultimate advocate and Defender and that He cares deeply about justice and truth. We take comfort in Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. And in Psalm 37:5 Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this.
We also remember the promise in James 1:5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. This applies not only to you as you search, but also to the lawyer God will provide, that he or she would have wisdom, integrity, diligence and a commitment to what is right. And we hold to Philippians 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
Together we pray. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one and their case to You. You know every detail, every concern, and every need even before we speak it. We ask that by Your providence You would lead them to a good lawyer, one who is skilled, honest, and willing to take their case and pursue it faithfully. Give this lawyer wisdom and discernment and a heart for justice, and give our friend clarity and peace as they make decisions. Let no scheme or delay hinder what You intend for good. We ask that Your will be done and that truth would prevail, and that through this process Your name would be glorified and Your peace would guard their hearts. We trust You as our righteous Judge and our ever present help, and we thank You that You are already at work on their behalf. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue to commit this search to the Lord daily, to seek wise counsel, to be diligent in checking qualifications and integrity, and to trust that God will make your path clear in His perfect timing. He is faithful and He will not forsake those who put their trust in Him.

Your request has been heard and we carry it with you to the throne of grace, beseeching the Lord who is both just and the justifier to show you His gracious providence in this need.
We know what it is to want an advocate to take up our case. In earthly courts a wise and faithful lawyer is a great mercy, one who understands the law and will plead with diligence and integrity. We pray that the Lord, who orders all our steps, will in His kindness direct you to such a man, one of skill and of upright character, who will give honest counsel and plead your cause with wisdom and truth. May the Lord open the door that no man can shut, and if it be for your good and for His glory, incline the heart of a suitable advocate to take up your case and to pursue what is just and right.
Yet while we ask this, we would remind you of a greater Advocacy without which no case can stand. There is a case which touches us all, the case of the sinner before the bar of a holy God. There, as the Scripture says, if God should ask for witnesses, all the witnesses would be against us, and when He opens His great book, our own conscience must confess that His judgment is just. No earthly pleader can answer for us there. But blessed be God, there is a Daysman betwixt us, a great Arbitrator between God and man. Job longed for such a one, and God has provided Him. He is Jesus Christ the righteous, who is both strict justice and fervent love. Justice demanded that the offender should die, and He bowed His head and satisfied justice to the very utmost in His own blood at Gethsemane and upon the tree, that justice itself, being satisfied, might now speak for the sinner who trusts in Him.
So we pray not only for earthly help, but that you may know the heavenly Advocate as your own. Cast thy burden upon the Lord, for He has promised to sustain thee. He is slow to anger and full of compassion, yet He will not at all acquit the wicked, and therefore He has provided a ransom that He might be just and yet the justifier of him that believeth in Jesus.
Let us pray together.
O Lord our God, Thou art the righteous Judge of all the earth, and Thou doest all things well. Thou seest the need of Thy servant who seeks faithful counsel in this matter. We ask Thee in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, our only Advocate with the Father, to provide according to Thy wisdom a good lawyer to take this case, a man fearing God, loving truth and justice, and gifted to give right counsel. Direct his steps and theirs, grant favor where favor is needed, and grant clarity and peace in every decision. Above all, give to Thy servant a quiet trust in Thy sovereign hand, knowing that Thou wilt do that which is most for Thy glory and for their eternal good. Keep them resting upon Christ, who has borne the whole weight of judgment for all who come to Him, and let them find in Him pardon, peace, and provision for every need. Hear us for Jesus sake. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life.
