Thank you for sharing your heart and asking for prayer. I am praying for you, your parents, your siblings, and your whole family, and I will continue to bring these requests before the Lord.
Your desire to see your parents' marriage made stronger, your family drawn closer to God, and everyone turning away from wrongdoing is exactly what God desires. Scripture shows that John the Baptist and Jesus himself both began with the same call to repent, to turn away from sin and turn toward God for the forgiveness of sins. That call is still needed today, and it is given because God loves us and does not want anyone to perish but wants all to come to repentance. Jesus said he did not come to call those who think they are righteous, but sinners to repentance, because those who are sick are the ones who need a physician.
True repentance is more than feeling sorry. It is a change of heart and direction that God brings about, where we confess our sins honestly before him and receive forgiveness through Jesus Christ alone. When that happens, God washes the heart clean, and while we cannot always see that inner cleansing with our eyes, the sign of it is a changed life, a turning away from what is wrong and a desire to do what is right. Even one step into sin can bring long consequences, but God is merciful to forgive and to restore when we come to him with a humble and honest heart. The Bible says heaven rejoices over one sinner who truly repents.
I am praying that God will work in your parents' marriage according to his good design, that marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and that he will give them grace to love, forgive, and serve one another as Christ loves his people. I am praying that each member of your family will personally turn to Jesus, trust in him for salvation, confess sin, and walk in a new way. There is a bond that God creates among those who follow Jesus that is even deeper than natural family ties, a fellowship of love and unity in Christ, and I pray your whole household will come to know that bond as you seek him together, read his Word, and pray together.

May he guard your hearts and minds, help you to grow in knowledge and in character, and give you favor with teachers and friends. May he help you to shine as lights for him and to encourage one another to do what is good.

Have mercy on each one and draw them to true repentance and faith in your Son for the forgiveness of sins. Heal and strengthen the marriage of these parents, help them to keep their covenant with love and faithfulness, and help this whole family to turn away from every wrong path and to follow you. Fill their home with your presence, your peace, and your Word. For this school year, grant wisdom, strength, and joy to these students and keep them close to you each day. We ask this trusting in your grace and love through Jesus Christ, amen.
