The Bible reminds us in 1 Peter 5:7 to cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us, and in Philippians 4:6-7, we are told not to be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let our requests be made known to God. His peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
It is important to remember that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we are called to take care of them. However, our ultimate trust should not be in treatments or our own efforts, but in the Lord who created us. While medical treatments can be helpful, we must always seek God’s will and trust in His perfect plan for us. If this concern is causing you stress, we encourage you to surrender it fully to the Lord, knowing that He is sovereign over all things, including our physical bodies.
We also want to gently remind you that our focus should not be solely on outward appearances, but on the inward condition of our hearts. Proverbs 31:30 tells us that charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord shall be praised. While it is natural to want to look our best, let us seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, trusting that He will provide all that we need (Matthew 6:33).

Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our sister who is struggling with the reappearance of sun spots and skin discoloration. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed her in her mother’s womb and knows every detail of her body. We ask for Your healing touch to restore her skin, removing any spots or discoloration that cause her distress. Father, we pray that You would bring complete healing and renewal to her skin, that it may reflect Your glory and the beauty of Your creation.
We also ask that You would calm her heart and mind, replacing her stress with Your perfect peace. Help her to trust in You fully, knowing that You are in control and that Your plans for her are good. Remind her that her worth and beauty come from You alone, and that her identity is found in Christ, not in her outward appearance.
Lord, if there are any underlying issues or lessons You want her to learn through this, reveal them to her and give her the strength to walk in obedience. May she seek You first in all things, trusting that You will provide for her every need.
