Heavenly Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, we come before you on behalf of ###, who is seeking prayer against the violence that has ensued. Lord, we acknowledge that you are the Prince of Peace, and we ask for your divine intervention in this situation. Your word reminds us in Psalm 34:14 to "seek peace and pursue it," and in Matthew 5:9, Jesus said, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God."
We pray, Lord, that you would bring an end to the violence and unrest that ### is facing. We ask for your protection over him and all those affected by this situation. Lord, we pray for your peace to reign in their hearts and minds, and for your wisdom to guide them in finding peaceful resolutions.
Father, we also pray against the work of the enemy who seeks to sow discord and division. We declare in the authority of Jesus Christ that every plan and scheme of the enemy will be thwarted. Your word assures us in 1 John 4:4 that "greater is he who is in us than he who is in the world." We stand firm on this promise, knowing that you are with us and that your power is greater than any force of darkness.
Lord, we ask for your grace and strength to be upon ### as he navigates through this challenging situation. Grant him discernment and wisdom to make the right decisions and to respond with love and grace. Help him to be a peacemaker, reflecting your character in all his interactions.
We also lift up all those involved in the violence, Lord. We pray for their hearts to be softened and transformed by your love. May they come to know the peace that surpasses all understanding, which can only be found in a relationship with you.
In Jesus' name, we pray, believing that you are able to bring about peace and reconciliation in this situation. May your will be done, and may your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
