Please pray against gross witches and demons

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Please pray against a witch named ### sending demons to spit on me and wipe my arms with dirty fingers. I have called this person gross because witches are gross. Please ask God to set me free from this stage 100 clinger in Jesus’ name.

We join with you in prayer against this spiritual oppression and we thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have authority and access to the Father.

We hear your distress about this person you describe who is involved in witchcraft and the sense that you are being harassed and defiled by demonic activity. We want to remind you that witchcraft is indeed an abomination before God and Scripture is clear about it, There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer Deuteronomy 18:10-11. To call such practices gross is understandable because they are unclean and in rebellion against God's holiness, yet we must also remember that the person herself is trapped in darkness and in need of deliverance, and we are called to pray even for those who come against us.

We also want to encourage you not to live in fear, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4. The enemy wants you to feel defiled, harassed, and unable to escape, but God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12, and for that reason we must put on the whole armor of God that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:11.

We rejoice that you invoked the name of Jesus, for we have been given authority, Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you Luke 10:19. When we submit ourselves to God and resist the devil, he will flee from us James 4:7. No weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17, and He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty Psalm 91:1.

We pray together now for your freedom and protection.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. We ask You to cover them with the blood of Jesus and to set a hedge of protection around them that no witchcraft, no demon, no curse, and no unclean spirit can cross. We rebuke every spirit that has been sent to harass, to spit upon, to defile, or to cling to them, and we command those spirits to leave now in Jesus' name and to go where You send them, never to return. Lord, cleanse them from every sense of defilement and restore to them a sense of Your purity and peace. We ask You to break every assignment of this stage 100 clinger spirit and every obsessive soul tie, and to sever every ungodly influence this individual practicing witchcraft has tried to exert. Let Your Holy Spirit fill every place where oppression has tried to dwell. We also pray for this woman who is practicing witchcraft, that You would convict her heart, open her eyes to the gross darkness she is in, and draw her to repentance and salvation through Jesus Christ if it be Your will, or otherwise remove her influence from this dear one's life completely. Give our friend discernment, godly boundaries, and wisdom to avoid unnecessary contact, and surround them with mature believers and pastors who can stand with them in prayer and accountability. Let them walk in Your peace and not in fear, knowing that You are their refuge and fortress Psalm 91:2. We declare freedom, cleansing, and rest over them now in Jesus' name, amen.

We encourage you to continue to abide in Christ daily. Stay in the Word, pray without ceasing, worship, and put on the armor of God each day. If this person continues to pursue or harass you in the physical realm, seek wise counsel from your pastors and if needed set firm biblical boundaries and seek help from proper authorities. Do not seek to retaliate or to return cursing for cursing, but overcome evil with good through prayer and truth. Fast if you are able and meet with other believers to pray, for there is power when we agree together. Trust that God is faithful to set you free completely, and keep calling on the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we are saved Acts 4:12.

We have read your request and we are praying for you. Feeling targeted and unable to get distance from someone is exhausting, and the sensations you described sound very distressing. We want you to know you are not alone as you bring this to the Lord.

We believe spiritual opposition is real, but our hope is not in keeping our eyes on the person we fear. Our safety is in staying close to Jesus, who is stronger and who watches over his own. When our thoughts get fixed on one person, it can help to gently turn our attention back to Christ and to the steady, grounding ways he cares for us.

It may help to invite one or two trusted, mature believers from your local church to walk with you in this season, to pray with you in person and check in regularly so you are not carrying this by yourself. If these experiences keep troubling you or make it hard to sleep or find peace, please also reach out to a pastor and to a medical professional you trust, alongside prayer, so you have support for both your spiritual and physical wellbeing.

Father, we lift our friend to you in Jesus name. Surround them with your presence, guard their mind and body, and quiet fear with your peace. Lead them to caring community and wise counsel, and help them rest securely in your love and power. Give them wisdom for each step and fill each day with your nearness. Amen.

Your cry for deliverance has been heard and we join you in earnest prayer to the Lord who alone can save from the Pit and from the power of darkness.

We understand the distress and fear that such experiences bring, with the sense of being harassed and unable to be free. Scripture teaches that deliverance from sin and from the power of Satan is not by our own will or strength, but is the work of God alone. In Job we hear the gracious word, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom. That ransom is the Lord Jesus Christ, who has borne the penalty for His people and who has authority to save from the devil, from evil, and from all the attacks that would drag the soul down. In Colossians we are told that the Father has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. It is Christ who makes truly free, and where He works, no chain of darkness can ultimately hold.

We also remember that afflictions, even when they come through the malice of others, are under the hand of our heavenly Father who sits as a Refiner, and He will not suffer His children to be tried beyond what He will turn for good. For this reason we look past second causes to the Lord Himself, asking Him to keep the soul from the Pit and the life from perishing, and to grant peace to the troubled heart.

Let us pray together.

O gracious Father, we come in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, our only ransom and hope. Thou hast said, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, for I have found a ransom. Look in mercy upon this one who feels beset and wearied, and grant deliverance according to Thy promise. We ask that Thou wouldst break every power of darkness, guard mind and body, and keep this soul from fear and harm. Cover with the blood of Christ, give rest at night and peace by day, and let no evil have dominion. Set free from all oppression and from every clinging trouble, and draw near as a Father who chastens in love and delivers in power. Grant faith to rest in Christ alone for salvation and protection, and fill the heart with Thy Word and Thy presence. If it be Thy will, bring to repentance and to the knowledge of Thy truth any who walk in darkness, that they also might be turned from darkness to light. We ask that this life may be spared to live and to declare the works of the Lord, giving thanks for Thy great deliverance. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord daily in prayer and in Scripture, and walk closely with faithful believers and pastors who can pray with you and counsel you face to face. Keep your mind stored with the knowledge of Christ, who has overcome, and rest in this, that deliverance is of the Lord and He will not forsake those who trust in the ransom He has found.
