We hear your cry for help and lift you up before the Lord with urgency and compassion. Pain is a heavy burden to carry alone, and we stand with you in this moment, interceding on your behalf. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases. We ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon our brother/sister in this time of distress.
Lord, Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this promise over their body right now. We rebuke this sharp, burning pain in the name of Jesus—let it be broken and removed from their side. Your Word also tells us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We stand on this truth, believing that healing is Your will for Your children.
We pray that You would grant them peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Surround them with Your presence, Lord, and let them feel Your comfort as they wait on You. If there is fear or anxiety accompanying this pain, we ask that You replace it with faith and trust in Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18).
We also encourage you to seek wise medical counsel if you haven’t already, for the body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we are called to steward it well. But above all, place your trust in the Lord, for He is your healer and your strength.
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We believe that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we declare that healing is manifesting in this situation right now. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will. In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
