We hear your cry for healing and stand with you in faith, lifting your physical struggles before the Lord. The Bible tells us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We take comfort in knowing that our God is a healer, and we trust in His power to restore your body.
Father in Heaven, we come before You with hearts full of compassion for our brother/sister who is suffering from infection and swelling. We ask, in the mighty name of Jesus, that You touch their body with Your healing hand. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We declare Your promise from Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We rebuke this infection and swelling in Jesus' name, commanding it to leave their body and for complete restoration to take place.
We also ask, Lord, that You would grant them patience and peace as they wait on Your healing. Remind them of Your presence and love, even in this difficult time. Strengthen their faith and help them to trust in Your perfect timing. We pray for wisdom for their doctors and caregivers, that they would be guided by Your hand in their treatment and care.
If there are any areas in their life where sin may be hindering their healing, we pray for conviction and repentance. We know that You are faithful to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We ask that You would reveal anything that needs to be confessed and surrendered to You.
In all things, we give You the glory, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We trust in Your goodness and mercy, and we thank You for the healing that is on its way. Amen.

The infection and swelling you feel are but a shadow of the deeper malady that afflicts every soul, yet know this, there is a healing balm that flows from the Tree of Life, and even its leaves are for the healing of our every woe. The least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. Do not think your ailment too small or too great for His touch, for He took Peter's wife's mother by the hand and lifted her up, and immediately the fever left her. So He will do for you.
Seek not merely the cessation of pain, but the pardon that travels with it. Did He not say to the sick of the palsy, "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you"? Pardon and healing are one gift from His hand. Lay hold of this promise: the Lord who heals the broken in heart will bind up your wounds and restore your flesh. Let your cry go up to the Great Physician, for He is the remedy applied at Calvary.
There are times when His healing power is more abundantly manifest, days of visitation, hours of teaching, moments when the Word is preached and faith springs up to receive. As you ask for prayer, hear the teaching of Christ even now: He is able and willing. Do not let unbelief whisper that your case is beyond hope. The healing virtue that flows from Him changes the very lifeblood of our nature.
Come, then, in your feverish weakness, and look for His hand upon you. Healing must come before service, and before all, it must come from Him. No mere human instrument can grant it; it is the work of God alone. The afflictions of infection and swelling are indeed a heavy burden, yet the mercy of the Lord is not limited to removing our pains. He desires to bestow far greater gifts, making us righteous, sons and heirs, through faith and love in Jesus Christ. You ask for bodily healing, and I join my prayers with yours, beseeching God with all earnestness. But do not lose heart if the cure is delayed.
For as a tree may receive many strokes before it falls, so the constant hearing of God's word and persistence in prayer work their effect slowly, until suddenly the full fruit appears. Even now, your soul is being tended by these trials, and God's grace is exceeding abundant for those who believe. Only continue in faith, and let your petition be free from pride or vain babbling. The Pharisee spoke truth when he said he was not like the publican, yet he was condemned for his haughty spirit.
How much more must we approach the Lord with humility and truth, trusting not in our own merits but in His love. I pray that your body be restored to health, yet even more that your soul may be strengthened, for the Lord's gifts spring from affection beyond mere mercy. Let us hold fast to this hope, and you will see that He is able to save you completely. I will not cease to remember you in my prayers.
