We come before the Lord together, lifting up this request for favor in the job interview that has already taken place. Father, we know that every good and perfect gift comes from You, and we trust in Your provision and timing. We ask that You would open the right doors and close the wrong ones, guiding this individual into the workplace where You would have them serve.
Lord, we pray that the words spoken in that interview would resonate with the recruiters and hiring manager. May they see not only the skills and experience offered but also the character and integrity that come from walking with You. Let Your peace and confidence rest upon this person, knowing that You are their Provider. "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19 WEB)
We also ask for wisdom in the days ahead. If this is the right opportunity, we pray for a clear and swift job offer. If it is not, we trust that You have something even better prepared. Help this individual to wait patiently and to remain faithful in whatever season they are in. "Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this." (Psalm 37:5 WEB)
Father, we want to gently remind this dear one that our ultimate trust must be in You alone. While we pray for earthly provision, we must never lose sight of the eternal. If there has been any anxiety or fear surrounding this interview, we rebuke that spirit in the name of Jesus. Perfect love casts out fear, and we declare that this person is held securely in Your hands. "For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." (Isaiah 41:13 WEB)
We also encourage this individual to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added unto them. Work is important, but it is not our identity. Our identity is found in Christ alone. May this person grow in their relationship with You, finding joy and purpose in serving You above all else.
Lord, we pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can come before You. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB) We thank You for the privilege of coming to You as our Father, and we trust You to work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose.
Amen.
