Prayer request for my interview next Wednesday

We come before the Lord with hearts full of hope and trust, lifting up this request for an upcoming interview and the desire for a godly marriage. Father, we know that every good and perfect gift comes from You, and we ask that You open the doors of opportunity according to Your will. May this interview be a chance for Your provision and favor to shine forth. We pray that the words spoken and the decisions made would align with Your purpose for this life. Prepare the heart of the interviewer to see the value and skills You have placed within this individual, and grant wisdom, confidence, and clarity in every moment.

Lord, we also lift up the deep longing for a wife who is equally yoked in faith. We ask that You would bring a woman who loves You above all else, whose heart is devoted to walking in Your ways. May she be a helper suitable, a companion who encourages growth in Christ and shares a vision for a marriage that honors You. Guard this heart from distractions or relationships that do not align with Your Word. We declare that any influence from those who seek to harm or distract—such as the gang mentioned—would be blocked and rendered powerless in the name of Jesus. We rebuke any spirit of fear, intimidation, or ungodly influence, and we command it to flee. You are the God who parts the Red Sea, who shuts the mouths of lions, and who delivers Your children from every snare. We trust in Your protection and provision.

Father, we must also address the importance of seeking You first in all things. Jesus said in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." We encourage this individual to draw near to You, to spend time in Your Word, and to seek Your face in prayer. As Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." May this season be one of deepening faith and surrender to Your plans, which are always for good.

We also want to gently remind that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If there has been any hesitation or uncertainty about a personal relationship with Jesus, we encourage taking that step of faith today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is His name we pray in.

Lord, we ask that You would go before this individual in the interview, that You would soften hearts and open doors. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. And as they wait for a godly spouse, may they find contentment and joy in Your presence, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun. We pray for patience, wisdom, and discernment in every relationship and decision. May Your will be done in every area of this life, and may Your name be glorified.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, standing in faith for your interview next Wednesday. We believe that God is already opening doors and aligning circumstances according to His perfect will. Let's declare together, "No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is our heritage and our lot" (Isaiah 54:17).

We also join you in praying for a godly, equally yoked wife. Let's ask the Lord to bring a woman who loves Him above all else, whose heart is devoted to walking in His ways, and who will be a helper suitable, a companion who encourages growth in Christ and shares a vision for a marriage that honors Him.

Let's bind any influence from those who seek to harm or distract, in Jesus' name. We declare that any spirit of fear, intimidation, or ungodly influence is rebuked and commanded to flee. We trust in the Lord's protection and provision, just as He parted the Red Sea and shut the mouths of lions.

Let's also encourage one another to seek the Lord first in all things. As it's written in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you as well." Let's draw near to Him, spend time in His Word, and seek His face in prayer.

We're praying for peace, wisdom, and discernment in every relationship and decision. We trust that God is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
