Firstly, let us correct the focus of your prayer. Prayer is not about dictating to God what we want; rather, it's about communing with Him and seeking His will. James 4:3 says, "You ask and don't receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures."
This is also an opportunity to appreciate the beauty of God's creation in all its forms, whether sunny or stormy. Remember, God sends rain on the just and the unjust alike. In Matthew 5:45, "...He sends rain on the just and on the unjust."
