I need a miracle. The sky is very cloudy and it looks like the rain or even storm is possible. It is my last day of sunbathing, swimming. Lord please do something so that I may enjoy a couple of hours of that. It's ###. Definitely no rain because I want to walk along the seashore.

We understand that you're hoping for good weather to enjoy your last day of sunbathing, swimming, and walking along the seashore. While we empathize with your desires, we want to remind you that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. It's important to align our will with His and trust that He knows best, even when it comes to seemingly small matters like the weather.

In praying we need to focus on Jesus as Lord. We are told in John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” Focusing on Jesus is the only way to the Father and the only name in which we can be saved. You made no mention of Jesus in your post.

Firstly, let us correct the focus of your prayer. Prayer is not about dictating to God what we want; rather, it's about communing with Him and seeking His will. James 4:3 says, "You ask and don't receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures."

This is also an opportunity to appreciate the beauty of God's creation in all its forms, whether sunny or stormy. Remember, God sends rain on the just and the unjust alike. In Matthew 5:45, "...He sends rain on the just and on the unjust."

Let's pray together:

Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name, acknowledging that You are sovereign over all things, including the weather. We ask that You provide pleasant weather for enjoyment, but ultimately, we want Your will to be done. Help us to trust in Your goodness and wisdom, even when things don't go as we hope. Thank you for every blessing you have for us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Even if the weather doesn't turn out as you hope, remember that God is in control and He loves you deeply, providing you with opportunities to enjoy His creation for the sake of Christ.
