Faithful Servant
Please pray and ask God that the spots on my leg and under my eye are not skin cancer and that the spots under my eye won't get bigger. I've battled skin cancer before and I'm very worried. I ask in the name of Jesus. Thank you and God bless you. ###

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you face this time of uncertainty and fear. Your past battle with skin cancer has left scars, not just on your skin, but on your spirit, and we understand how deeply this new concern weighs on you. But we serve a God who is greater than any diagnosis, a Healer who knit you together in your mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14) and who holds your life in His hands.

Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask You to intervene in this situation. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord. We claim this promise over today. Lord, we pray that the spots on their leg and under their eye are benign, nothing more than shadows with no power to harm. If there is any trace of disease, we rebuke it in Jesus’ name, for Your Word says that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We ask You to shrink any abnormality, to still any fear, and to replace worry with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We also lift up the anxiety that clings to them. The enemy would love to use this moment to steal their joy, their trust, and their hope. But we declare that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Lord, remind that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Even if the news is difficult, You will walk with them through it, just as You have before.

We encourage you to seek medical wisdom, God often works through the hands of doctors and the tools of medicine. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding, but in all our ways to acknowledge Him. Schedule that appointment, follow through with any tests, and then release the outcome to God. He is faithful, even when our emotions try to convince us otherwise.

And to the One who calms the storms and commands the waves, we say: Lord, let Your healing power flow. Let Your peace guard ’s heart and mind in Christ Jesus. If there is anything in their life that needs to be surrendered, any unconfessed sin, any bitterness, any area where they’ve tried to carry burdens alone, we ask You to reveal it so they can lay it at the foot of the cross. For You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and healed. May His grace be your strength, His love your comfort, and His truth your anchor in this season. You are not alone. We stand with you, believing for God’s best, and we will continue to lift you up until the answer comes. Amen.

We know how a past battle with skin cancer can make every new spot feel like a loaded moment, we carry that history in our minds and bodies. The waiting and the what‑ifs are exhausting. We are standing with you, asking God together that these spots would prove harmless and that they will not enlarge.

In the meantime, we want to gently encourage you to let a dermatologist take a look soon. It is not a failure of faith to have a doctor examine what concerns you; it’s a practical step of stewardship over your body while you keep your trust firmly in the Lord. Early eyes on it can also quiet the part of your mind that replays worst‑case scenarios.

One small, grounding thing that sometimes helps: when the worry surges, pause and name exactly what you are feeling in that moment, “right now I am afraid, right now I am still safe.” It does not remove the uncertainty, but it can keep one moment from cascading into the whole imagined future.

We are holding you up in prayer, asking for both a clear report and a steady heart while you wait.

Jesus, we lift up our friend to you now. You know these spots on the leg and under the eye, and you know the fear they stir. We ask that they would not be cancer and that they would not grow. Give peace that passes understanding, and guide the hands of any doctor who examines them. Surround this dear person with reminders of your presence, and hold them steady in the shelter of your love. Amen.

The prayer you have sent rises to the throne of grace and I join with you in earnest supplication. Cast these spots, these shadows upon the flesh, upon Him who bore our sicknesses and carried our sorrows. Fear not, for the Lord has said, “I will help thee.” The enemy would magnify these blemishes to bind your heart with dread, but remember that the very leaves of the Tree of Life are for healing. The least thing about Christ is medicine for every malady. When the Sun of Righteousness arises, healing is beneath His wings, and His touch makes the flesh of a little child.

Do not let fear gain mastery, for it dishonors the Almighty and weakens your faith. Jesus Himself drew near to the trembling and whispered, “Fear not.” It is not the preacher, but the living Christ who speaks peace to His afflicted ones. He who lifted the palsied man and forgave his sins is the same Physician who attends to your frame. Pardon and healing spring from one pierced hand. Lay your case before Him without terror, for His work is not so much to point out the sickness as to apply the remedy.

That dread you feel is a part of the burden He invites you to roll away. Pray with confidence, for He binds up the broken heart and heals all its wounds. The spots you see may be but a passing shadow, soon scattered by the brightness of His presence. Yet even if they remain, His grace shall be sufficient and His strength made perfect in your weakness. Look past the flesh to the sure healing of the soul; there, at the cross, the balm flows freely. Be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you, and the power that spoke the world into being watches over your going out and your coming in. Rest in that promise, and let faith silence every fear.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The spots on your skin terrify you, and this is no small thing, for you have known the adversary before. Yet consider: the fear of death is the true tyrant under which men groan all their lives, cringing before every shadow. When the Lord broke the gates of brass and loosed the dead, He did not promise us a body that would never know affliction, but a soul that should no longer be shackled to dread. You ask God to hold back the cancer, and well you should ask. But ask also to hold back the fear, for the fear itself is the heavier yoke.

You dread what a physician might find, but what has God already found in you? A heart trembling, yes, but a heart that calls on the name of Christ. Even Ananias trembled when he heard the name of Paul, that fierce persecutor, and he said in his soul, "Why dost Thou cast me into the mouth of the lion?" And the Lord answered not with a promise of safety from all harm, but with a commission: "He is a chosen vessel unto Me, to bear My name before Gentiles and kings, and I will show him how great things he must suffer for My name's sake." So too with you: your suffering, whatever it may prove to be, is not a stumbling into the lion's mouth by accident. If trials come, they come as those of a chosen vessel, one who bears the name already, one who prays in that name now. Suffering is not a sign of God's forgetfulness, but often the very ground where the covenant is proven.

You say you have battled this before, and weariness has entered your bones. That weariness is the shadow of the old bondage. Before Christ, men lived in continual expectation of death and could have no sense of pleasure while this fear was present. But now, the one who does not count his life dear is out of reach of the devil's tyranny. Do not misunderstand: to ask for healing is good, it is faith. But to be mastered by the thought of spots, to let the mind trail in the mire of anxious imagination, is to misuse the soul. Shoes are made for mud, and the body for the trials of this fallen pavement, yet we do not hang the soiled shoes around our necks and walk about moaning over their filth. The sun sends down his beams on many a pollution and withdraws them again pure. You, standing in the Sun of Righteousness, can remain pure in spirit even while the flesh contends with its corruptions.

The fear of punishment, the terror of a possible sword, often serves as a rough tutor to drive the sluggish soul toward God. But you are not among the duller sort who only then lift up their eyes. You are already calling out. Stand therefore in that calling. The cup you fear to drink is not the cup of devils; it is, if it comes, the cup of the Lord, which He Himself has tasted. And mark this: the Lord said His yoke is easy and His burden light, not because the flesh would never ache, but because the soul that learns His lowliness finds rest. Let the physicians do their work, for they are ministers of God in their office, whether they know it or not. But do you do yours: set the house in order not by frantic inventory of every blemish, but by laying hold of the hope that even death itself is a vanquished executioner. The executioner you would shrink to touch by the hand, yet Christ has embraced him, and he cowers now, all his keepers in fear. If the Lord opens the eyes of your body without further cutting, give thanks and refuse anxiety its return. If He opens them instead to a path of suffering, remember that He shows such things to His chosen vessels, not to cast them away, but to bear His name. Either way, you are baptized into a death that has already died. Why then should the spots on the skin disturb the soul that has been sealed?
