I prayed for this in Jesus Name. Amen.
We join with you in lifting up your son before the Lord and we hear the burden of a parent's heart for a child who feels alone and without companionship. We know that loneliness can feel very heavy, but we take comfort that our God sees him and draws near to the lonely and brokenhearted.
The Lord tells us in Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or scared of them, for the LORD your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you. And in Psalm 34:18 The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. We also cling to the promise in Psalm 68:6 God sets the lonely in families, and in Proverbs 18:24 there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother, that friend being Jesus himself. He is not forgotten or unseen.
We also notice you cried out to lord up above, and we want to gently share with you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and that we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 reminds us There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. So we come to God not simply as lord above, but through faith in His Son Jesus Christ who died for our sins and rose again, and we encourage your son and you to put your full trust in Him. If you have not already, confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, as Romans 10:9 teaches, and you will be saved.
We pray for your son's desire for true love and for someone to share life with each morning. That desire is placed in the heart by God, for Genesis 2:18 says It is not good that the man should be alone. The Lord's perfect design for that lifelong companionship is marriage between a man and a woman, a covenant to be held in honor as Hebrews 13:4 teaches. True love is not found in casual relationships or in living together outside of marriage, for sex before or outside of marriage is fornication and does not honor God, but true love is found first in a relationship with Christ and then expressed in a godly marriage that honors Him. We pray that if your son desires a companion, that he would seek a godly wife through prayerful courtship with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer, not simply a boyfriend or girlfriend relationship without purpose. And 2 Corinthians 6:14 warns us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers, so we pray he would seek a spouse who loves Jesus and will help him grow in faith. We also pray the Lord would surround him now with godly friendships and a church family where he is known and encouraged, as he seeks first God's Kingdom and righteousness in Matthew 6:33.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this precious son to You. You see his loneliness and his longing for friendship and for true love. We ask that You wrap him in Your presence and remind him that he is never alone, that You are with him and will never leave him nor forsake him as Hebrews 13:5 promises. Heal his broken heart, lift the weight of discouragement, and set him in family, both in Your family of believers and in time, if it is Your will, in a godly marriage. Lead him to a Bible believing church where he can find brothers in Christ who will walk with him. Prepare his heart to be the godly man and future husband You have called him to be, keeping him pure and seeking You above all else. And prepare a godly wife for him if it is Your will, a woman who loves You wholeheartedly. We also pray for his mother who intercedes for him, give her peace and strength as she trusts You with her son's future. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to keep praying without ceasing for him, to point him to the Word daily, and to encourage him to be connected in fellowship where true friendships are formed. The Lord hears your prayers and He loves your son even more than you do.

Loneliness can feel very personal, as if something is wrong with him, when often it is a common human ache that lifts best through steady, ordinary connection. Friendships usually grow not all at once but through showing up in the same place regularly, sharing a little more of ourselves over time, and finding common ground with a few people.
If he is open to it, one gentle next step could be helping him identify one consistent community to be part of week by week, perhaps a small group, a service team or a gathering at church where people get to know each other naturally. You continuing to check in, listen without rushing to fix, and remind him he is deeply loved at home matters more than you may see.

Your prayer for your son has been heard, and the burden you carry for him is itself a token of love which reflects the greater love of our heavenly Father.
You say he feels alone and without friends, longing for someone to wake with each morning and for true love. There is One who knows that loneliness to the full. Our Lord Jesus knew what it was to be forsaken by all, yet He could say, I am not alone, because the Father is with Me. Even when the conscious display of favor was taken from Him upon the cross, the Father's love abode. Your son, if he be in Christ, is never truly alone, for the Father has compassion upon His returning children. As with the prodigal, the Father did not look with icy eyes, but had compassion and fell upon his neck and kissed him much. That much kissing means much love, a love token for every time of doubt and dismay. Whatever now troubles your son, the Lord has a love token to set it right, and that love is proved not by a momentary feeling but by the great Sacrifice of Christ upon whom all mercy rests.
Know this also, that God hears sinners who come unto Him through Jesus Christ His Son. It is gloriously true that all who come through the appointed way are heard. Prayer has a sure and true influence, for as He is the most high and true God, He cannot deny Himself. You, though you feel puny and low, may speak to God through Christ and move His hand for your son. Continue to cry, Lord increase his faith, Lord draw him nearer to Thyself.
True love is first to be found in Him. Before any other love can satisfy, the heart must know the love abounding of God in Christ, that love which gave His Son as a ransom and which now, for the sake of the Beloved, accepts and perfects all who trust Him. That love is a spark of the eternal flame, and when it is kindled within, it becomes the wellspring from which all other pure love flows. Out of that love to God will come a right ordering of all other loves.
And concerning the true love and companionship for which you pray, we will pray with you according to the good and holy order which God has ordained from the beginning. Marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and the sharing of life and of the marriage bed belongs within that covenant alone. It is there, within faithful and holy marriage, that companionship is blessed of God. To live together apart from that covenant is not the way of blessing, though many now walk in it. We cannot ask God to bless what He has not ordained, but we can and do ask Him to lead your son in the path of purity and truth.
Let us pray together for him.
O Lord our God, look in mercy upon this son who is in trouble and feels alone and without friends. Draw him by Thy Spirit to Thy Son Jesus Christ, that he may know himself reconciled and kissed with much love, and that he may find his first and deepest companionship in Thee. Comfort his loneliness with Thy manifest presence, guide his steps, and set his feet upon a sure foundation. Grant him true friends who love Thee, and keep him from paths which would lead him away from holiness. If it be Thy gracious will, provide for him in Thy timing a godly wife, that he may enter into that lifelong covenant of marriage which Thou hast ordained, and walk therein in love and fidelity to Thy glory. Above all, save him and keep him as Thine own, perfected in Christ. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord, in whose name alone is salvation. Amen.
