Please Lord help me to find a job!

Bhelhaven

Disciple of Prayer
Dear God, Please hear me, for I come to You with a heavy heart. I know I have sinned and made choices that I now regret deeply. I have done things I am ashamed of, and I take full responsibility for them. Please, Lord, forgive me for all my wrongdoings — for the times I failed You, others, and myself. Wash away my guilt and cleanse my heart. I am tired, Lord. I feel hopeless and defeated. I am disappointed in myself and the path my life has taken. I long for Your mercy, Your light, and Your guidance. Please do not punish me any longer, but instead help me rebuild my life in Your grace. Please, Lord, help me find a good job — one where I can use my skills, live honestly, and regain my peace of mind. I want to walk the path You have prepared for me and live a life that pleases You. You said: “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” (Matthew 7:7–8) I am asking, seeking, and knocking now, Lord. Please open the door for me. Give me the strength to trust You again, to forgive myself, and to keep going even when I can’t see the way forward. Thank You for always being patient with me and loving me despite my failures. I place my life in Your hands. With all my heart, Amen.

We are deeply moved by your heartfelt cry to the Lord, and we join you in seeking His face for forgiveness, restoration, and provision. Your words reflect a spirit of true repentance, and we rejoice that you are turning to God with honesty and humility. The Scriptures assure us that when we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). There is no sin too great that His blood cannot wash away, and no past so broken that His grace cannot redeem. You have asked for forgiveness in sincerity, and we declare over you the promise of Psalm 103:12: *"As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us."*

Your weariness and feelings of hopelessness are not unseen by the Lord. He knows the weight of your burdens and the depth of your longing for a new beginning. In Isaiah 40:29-31, we are reminded that *"He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might. Even the youths faint and get weary, and the young men utterly fall; but those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."* Claim this promise today—your strength *will* be renewed as you wait on Him.

You have also asked for a job, and we stand with you in faith, believing that God will provide not just any job, but the *right* job—one that aligns with His purpose for your life and allows you to live with integrity and peace. Proverbs 16:3 tells us to *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* As you seek employment, commit this process entirely to Him. Trust that He is already preparing the way, even when you cannot see it. Remember, too, the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:33: *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your primary focus must remain on Him, and as you do, He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

We must also encourage you to guard your heart against discouragement. The enemy would love for you to believe that your past disqualifies you from God’s blessings, but that is a lie. The apostle Paul, who once persecuted Christians, became one of the greatest missionaries for Christ. Peter, who denied Jesus three times, was restored and used mightily to build the early church. Your past does not define your future in Christ. Romans 8:1 declares, *"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit."* You are *in* Christ now, and His mercy is new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23).

As you wait for this door to open, we urge you to fill your mind with Scripture, surround yourself with believers who can encourage you, and serve others in whatever capacity you can. Sometimes, God prepares us *while* we wait, refining our character and deepening our trust in Him. Do not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season, you *will* reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9).

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up Your child before You, who comes with a broken and contrite heart. Lord, You are near to the brokenhearted, and You save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We thank You that this precious one has turned to You in repentance, and we ask that You would wash them clean by the blood of Jesus. Remove every stain of guilt, every shadow of shame, and restore to them the joy of Your salvation (Psalm 51:12). Let them walk in the freedom and peace that comes from knowing they are forgiven and loved by You.

Father, we ask for Your divine provision in their search for employment. Open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8), and grant them favor with those in authority. Provide a job that not only meets their financial needs but also allows them to use their gifts for Your glory. Give them wisdom to recognize Your leading, and courage to step forward in faith when the opportunity comes. Let this season of waiting be a time of drawing closer to You, trusting that Your timing is perfect and Your plans are good (Jeremiah 29:11).

Lord, we rebuke every spirit of hopelessness, fear, and discouragement that would try to take root in their heart. Fill them instead with Your hope, which does not disappoint (Romans 5:5). Strengthen their faith, and let them see Your hand moving on their behalf. Remind them daily that they are Your beloved child, redeemed and called by name.

We pray all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). May Your will be done in their life, and may You receive all the glory. Amen.

Stand firm in your faith, dear one. God has heard your cry, and He *will* answer. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him, and watch as He turns your mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11). We are cheering you on and believing with you for the breakthrough that is coming!

Dear friend, we're right there with you, praying and believing for your breakthrough. We know the weight of regret and the weariness that comes from feeling stuck. But remember, God is closer than you think, and He's already at work, preparing a way for you.

We're claiming Psalm 30:5 over you today: "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning." Your morning is coming, and it's going to be beautiful. God sees your heart, your sincerity, and your desire to turn things around. He's not keeping score of your failures; He's cheering you on, just as we are.

We're believing for a job that's not just a paycheck, but a place where you can use your skills, live honestly, and find peace. We're trusting that God will open the right doors at the right time, and we're asking Him to give you the wisdom to recognize them and the courage to walk through them.

In the meantime, let's fill our hearts and minds with God's Word, surround ourselves with encouraging believers, and serve others where we can. Sometimes, God is preparing us while we wait, refining our character and deepening our trust in Him.

Keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him, and watch as He turns your mourning into dancing. We're cheering you on, and we're believing with you for the breakthrough that's coming!

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
