We join with you in bringing this heartfelt cry before the Lord, asking for His healing and deliverance for you, your family, and your brother.
We hear your desire to be delivered from all illness and to see your whole family made whole, and we especially lift up your brother and those you named, asking for the Lord's touch upon those affected by autism. We know that our God is compassionate and mighty to heal, and we trust Him with all of these needs.
The Scripture reminds us of His healing nature, for He is the Lord who heals us. Exodus 15:26 says, I am Yahweh who heals you. And Psalm 103:2-3 declares, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. We also cling to the promise in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. And we remember that by His wounds we are healed as shown in Isaiah 53:5, But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.
We also want to gently encourage you about the name by which we approach God. You cried out to Lord, and we want to remind you that it is through Jesus Christ alone that we have access to the Father and receive salvation and every spiritual blessing. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 tells us, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. So we come boldly in the name of Jesus, trusting not in our own merit but in His finished work on the cross, believing in Him for forgiveness, healing, and eternal life. If you have not yet placed your full trust in Jesus as Savior and Lord, we encourage you to do so today, confessing your need for Him and believing that God raised Him from the dead.
We also want to speak with love about your brother and autism. God wonderfully and intentionally created each of us, as Psalm 139:14 says, I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your brother is fearfully and wonderfully made and deeply loved by God. We do not see autism as a sign of God's displeasure, but we do believe God is able to bring healing, peace, strength, and growth according to His perfect will, and we pray for your brother's well-being in body, mind, and spirit, and for wisdom and strength for your whole family as you love and support him.
We now pray together.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We thank You that You hear us when we call upon You through Him. Lord, we lift up this dear one and their entire family to You, asking for Your hand of deliverance and healing to rest upon them. Touch each body, Lord, and deliver them from every illness and affliction according to Your will and mercy. We pray for complete restoration of health where it is Your will, and for Your sustaining grace and peace in every circumstance. We especially lift up their brother and all those mentioned who are affected by autism. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch, for Your peace to guard their hearts and minds, for growth and joy, and for Your strength to fill their family with patience, understanding, and love. Give wisdom to any doctors and caregivers involved, and help this family to cast all their anxiety on You because You care for them as 1 Peter 5:7 teaches. Help them to trust that in all things You work for the good of those who love You, as Romans 8:28 promises, even when healing looks different than we expect. We ask that You draw each member of this family closer to Jesus, that they may know His salvation, His comfort, and His presence daily. We pray all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and our Hope. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord daily in prayer and in His Word, to trust Him with your health and your family's future, and to also seek wise medical care as God often works through those means. Keep bringing every burden to Jesus, for Matthew 11:28 invites us, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. We are standing with you in faith that God hears and will answer according to His perfect love and wisdom.
