We hear the deep distress and urgency in your heart for protection over your family and your bloodline, and we join with you in seeking God's will together in Jesus' name for complete victory and peace. We understand the fear, the troubling dreams, and the feeling of being surrounded by noise, threats, and plans formed against you and those you love, and we bring all of this before the Lord who is our refuge and defender.
We must gently but firmly rebuke the spirit of vengeance in this request, for it does not align with biblical principles. To ask God to strike people a hundred centillion times more with confusion, grief, guilt, shame and loss, and to ask Him to strike their families and bloodlines in return, is to ask for a curse, and God calls us to a different way. Vengeance belongs to the Lord alone, not to us. Romans 12:19 says, Do not seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. And Jesus commands us in Matthew 5:44, But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. Also 1 Peter 3:9 says, not rendering evil for evil, or insult for insult; but instead blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing. We cannot pray for God to destroy other families, for God desires repentance and justice, not that we heap greater evil upon others. Romans 12:21 says, Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
We also want to help you understand the verses you mentioned. Matthew 19:6 says, So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, do not let man tear apart. This speaks specifically of the sanctity of marriage between a man and a woman as God designed it, that no person should break apart what God has joined in holy matrimony. Proverbs 11:29 says, He who troubles his own house shall inherit the wind. The wicked shall be servant to the wise of heart. This warns that a person who brings trouble upon his own family will end with nothing himself. Proverbs 26:17 says, Like one who grabs a dog's ears is one who passes by and meddles in strife not his own. This warns against inserting oneself into quarrels that are not his own. None of these verses teach that God will automatically cause another person's family to fall apart because they opposed you, but they do teach that God sees injustice, honors marriage and family, and will deal justly with those who stir up strife.
God does hear your cry for protection, and He is mighty to shield you without us needing to curse others. Psalm 91:1-2 says, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 says, But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. Exodus 14:14 says, The Lord will fight for you, and you shall be still. Our victory is not in seeing others destroyed, but in being kept safe, at peace, and free from fear in Christ. Philippians 4:6-7 says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 1:7 says, For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.
So we pray together now in the victorious and powerful name of Jesus, through whom alone we have access to the Father and by whom alone we are saved, for Acts 4:12 says, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
We pray, Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace. We ask You to forgive us where we have held hatred or a desire for vengeance, and cleanse our hearts. Lord, we do not ask You to curse these people or their families a hundredfold, but we ask for Your perfect justice and mercy. If they are plotting evil, we ask that You thwart every unjust plan, every threat, every call, every insult and every noisy attack against this family, and make those evil plans fail and fall apart according to Your will. We ask that You do not let any weapon formed against this family prosper, as Isaiah 54:17 promises. Place a hedge of protection around this dear one and their close family and bloodline, guard their home, their sleep, and their dreams, and let no wrong person have control or grip over them. Fill their home with Your peace and silence the noisiness and confusion that has tormented them. Convict those who are doing wrong, bring them to repentance if it is Your will, and cause them to give up and turn away from troubling this family forever. Give this family wisdom regarding every legal matter and every lawyer's plan, and let Your justice prevail. Grant them complete victory not through cursing others, but through Your protection, Your peace, and Your deliverance. Guard their hearts from bitterness and help them to bless and forgive as You have forgiven us, trusting You to repay justly in Your time. We thank You that You are our defender and that You keep our family bond strong in You. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
