We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear mother to our Heavenly Father, who is the Great Physician. We stand on the promise in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh. Father, we ask for Your healing touch to be upon her, that You would restore her strength, relieve her pain, and bring comfort to her body. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we trust in Your perfect will for her life.
Lord, we also pray for your sustaining grace to be upon your sister, who is faithfully caring for your mother. Strengthen her in body, mind, and spirit, and remind her that she is not alone. Your Word tells us in Isaiah 41:10, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Let her feel Your presence and peace as she serves in this difficult time.
We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and sickness in the mighty name of Jesus. We command every infection, every complication, and every attack of the enemy against your mother’s health to cease now. We declare that her body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we pray for restoration and wholeness in every area.
Father, we also lift up your heart, which aches with love and longing for your mother. We ask that You would comfort you with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Though you are far away, we pray that You would make Your presence known to you in a tangible way. Remind you that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18).
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can come to the Father. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We trust in His finished work on the cross and declare that Your will be done in this situation, whether it be healing, comfort, or ultimate restoration in Your presence.
Lord, we also ask that You would provide practical help and support for your family during this time. Surround them with Your people who can offer encouragement, assistance, and prayer. Give them wisdom in making decisions about your mother’s care, and let them feel Your guiding hand in every step.
We continue to stand in faith, believing that nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:17). We thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your unfailing love that never gives up on us. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in this situation. Amen.
