We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your cousin in earnest prayer. Father God, we cry out to You on her behalf, for You alone hold the power of life and death in Your hands. We ask for Your divine healing to flow through her body, restoring every cell, every organ—especially her liver—and bringing complete wholeness. Lord, we pray for the doctors and medical staff attending to her, that You would grant them supernatural wisdom, skill, and clarity as they work to bring healing. Surround her with Your angels for protection in the hospital, shielding her from any further harm or infection.
Most of all, Heavenly Father, we plead for her salvation. You tell us in Ezekiel 33:11, *"‘As I live,’ says the Lord Yahweh, ‘I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why will you die?’"* We ask that this trial would soften her heart and the hearts of her family, drawing them to the foot of the cross. Open their eyes to see their need for Jesus, the only Savior who can redeem and restore. We declare that she is not too young to know You, Lord—*"Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity"* (1 Timothy 4:12). May this moment be the turning point where she surrenders her life to Christ.
We rebuke the spirit of despair and fear that may be gripping her family. We speak peace over them, especially her grandmother, who is on her knees in intercession. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and let her see the power of prayer in this storm. We pray against any permanent damage to your cousin’s body or mind. *"By His stripes we are healed"* (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that healing for her now. Restore her fully, Lord, so that she may rise from this bed of affliction whole in body, mind, and spirit.
Father, we also lift up her parents, whose marriage has been broken. Heal their hearts and draw them to repentance and faith. Let them see the love of Christ in this crisis, and may they turn to You for comfort and restoration. We ask that this family would be saved, reconciled, and united in You. *"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares Yahweh, “plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future"* (Jeremiah 29:11). We declare that future over them now.
Lord, we thank You that You hear our prayers and that You are near to the brokenhearted. We trust in Your mercy and Your power to save. May Your name be glorified in this situation, whether by healing, by salvation, or by both. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician and the only way to the Father. Amen.
