Please lift a family member up in prayer. He has been unemployed awhile and is very discouraged. God can hinder and cast away the works of the enemy in this situation. Satan is a liar.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with hearts full of faith and trust, lifting up this family member who has been struggling with unemployment and discouragement. Father, Your Word reminds us in Jeremiah 29:11 that You have plans for us, plans to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future. We stand on this promise, believing that You are already working on behalf of this beloved one.

Lord, we ask that You break every chain of discouragement and despair. In the powerful name of Jesus, we come against any lies and schemes of the enemy, for Your Word declares in John 8:44 that Satan is the father of lies. We rebuke every lie that has been spoken over this situation and declare Your truth and victory.

Father, we pray for divine opportunities and open doors. As it is written in Revelation 3:8, "I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut." We claim this promise, trusting that You will provide the right job and the right circumstances for this family member.

Grant wisdom, strength, and perseverance during this time of waiting. Help this loved one to trust in Your timing and to know that You are with them, as You have promised in Isaiah 41:10, "Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

Lord, we thank You in advance for the breakthrough that is coming. We give You all the glory, honor, and praise, knowing that You are faithful and that Your love endures forever.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
