We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of faith, lifting up your earnest request for permanent employment. It is good that you seek the Lord in this matter, for He is the one who provides all things, and we know that every good and perfect gift comes from above. However, we must address something of great importance—your prayer did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father. The Scriptures declare in **John 14:6**, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* And in **Acts 4:12**, we read, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is only through the name of Jesus that our prayers are heard, for He is our Mediator before God.
Let us also remind you that our trust must not be placed in employment, promotions, or worldly security, but in the Lord Himself. **Matthew 6:31-33** tells us, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your focus must remain on seeking God’s will above all else, trusting that He will provide as you walk in obedience and faith.
We also encourage you to examine your heart and motives. Are you seeking this job for the glory of God, to provide for your needs and those of your household in a way that honors Him? Or is there any hint of greed, anxiety, or a desire for worldly validation? **Proverbs 16:3** says, *"Commit your deeds to the Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* And **Psalm 37:5** reminds us, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this."*
Now, let us pray together for you and your family:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks permanent employment. Lord, You are Jehovah-Jireh, the God who provides, and we trust in Your perfect timing and wisdom. We ask that You open doors of opportunity that no man can shut, aligning this request with Your will for their life. Give them favor in the sight of those in authority, and grant them wisdom, diligence, and excellence in all they do.
Father, we also pray that You would guard their heart against anxiety, fear, or misplaced trust in this world’s systems. Remind them daily that their worth and security are found in You alone. If there is any sin, doubt, or wrong motive in their heart, we ask that You convict and cleanse them by the power of the Holy Spirit. Help them to seek first Your Kingdom and righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added unto them as they walk in obedience.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of delay, rejection, or financial lack that may be at work against them. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command every obstacle to be removed and every door of divine provision to be opened. Let this season be a testimony of Your faithfulness and goodness.
We also pray for their family, that they would be covered by Your peace and provision. May this time draw them closer to You, united in faith and trust. Let them be a light in their workplace, reflecting Your love and integrity to those around them.
Father, we thank You in advance for the answer to this prayer. We declare that You are working all things together for their good, according to Your purpose. Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and let them experience the joy of seeing Your hand move mightily in their life.

Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and trust that He will provide in ways that exceed your expectations. If you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. There is no greater security than being in Christ. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you walk in His will.
