Let us pray, Lord to help us and to give us strength for today's "fasting and prayer"! Let us pray that today's "fasting and prayer" will be entirely according to God's will, and our voice will be heard very loudly before Jesus Christ! Let us pray, that today the Lord will hear our prayers and answer with great power and might! Let us pray that today's "fasting and prayer" will be based on the Living Word of God and powerful - inspired, managed and anointed by the Holy Spirit of God! Let us pray, today and forever the Lord to help me and my brother ### to be in perfect unanimity about God's purposes and intentions in the mighty name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray Lord build and bless the friendship between me and my brother ###! Let us pray that God has kept this friendship from the devil, and that this is it should to be for God's glory forever! Let us also pray for me and my brother ### - Our Heavenly Father to give us complete healing and complete freedom in spirit, soul and body, in the Name and Wounds of Jesus Christ! We join you and your brother in this sacred time of fasting and prayer, lifting our voices together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. What a beautiful thing it is to seek the Lord with a humble and contrite heart, setting aside the distractions of this world to draw near to Him. We are reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:16-18, "Moreover when you fast, don’t be like the hypocrites, with sad faces. For they disfigure their faces, that they may be seen by men to be fasting. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward. But you, when you fast, anoint your head, and wash your face; so that you are not seen by men to be fasting, but by your Father who is in secret, and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you." Let your fasting be a sweet aroma before the Lord, done in sincerity and with a heart fully surrendered to His will.
We pray that the Lord would indeed sanctify your motives, focus, prayers, deeds, and behaviors, that everything you offer to Him today would be pleasing in His sight. May your time of fasting and prayer be led by the Holy Spirit, grounded in the living Word of God, and filled with His power and anointing. Let your voices rise as one before the throne of grace, that the Lord would hear and answer with great power and might. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. It is through faith in Jesus Christ, His death, and resurrection that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome every obstacle.
