We are delighted to join you in prayer and support as you prepare for a time of fasting and prayer before the Lord. It is wonderful that you have acknowledged that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God and be saved as you mention in your request. We stand with you, seeking God's will and interceding according to His word.
Let us encourage you with the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:16-18 (WEB): "Moreover when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces, that they may appear to men to be fasting. Most certainly, I tell you, they have received their reward. But you, when you fast, anoint your head, and wash your face; so that you are not seen by men to be fasting, but by your Father who is in secret, and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you."
As you embark on this spiritual discipline, we pray that the Lord will sanctify, inspire, and bless every aspect of your fasting and prayer. May your motives, focus, prayers, deeds, and behaviors be a sweet fragrance before Jesus Christ. We ask the Lord to give you strength and help you as you seek Him wholeheartedly.
In Hebrews 4:15-16 (WEB), we read, "For we do not have a high priest who can't be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need."
May this time of fasting and prayer be entirely according to God's will. We declare that your voice will be heard loudly before Jesus Christ and that the Lord will hear your prayers, gratitude, and answer with great power and might. May this time be firmly rooted in the Living Word of God and powerfully inspired, managed, and anointed by the Holy Spirit.
We also lift up your petition for healing and freedom in spirit, soul, and body. We pray that by the Wounds and the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, you will be made whole. Remember the promise in 1 Peter 2:24 (WEB), "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. By his wounds you were healed."
We thank God for your faith and dedication. May the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek Him. We stand with you in Jesus' name. We end with our Lord's Prayer.
Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us today the food we need, and forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us. And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one. For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
